CALL US 0 Keynote Singers Mariel Meysenburg Dear PNC members, As the saying goes, All good things must come to an end and Keynote Singers, indeed, has been a good thing! Sadly, however, we have decided to discontinue this endeavor. Keynote Singers, originally Keynote Chorale, started under the direction of Carole Hetzler in Unfortunately, she couldn t continue with it, so I took it over in Some very committed and talented women who love to sing came forward to join the group. At one time we had 12 members. But as new jobs, health, moves and traveling invaded the group, we became very small in number, even smaller this coming season. We decided that it was no longer practical to be a performing group. We want to say THANK YOU to all of you who were so supportive of us and kept us going with your smiles and compliments! We always enjoyed our PNC performances the most! We will certainly miss performing for you. I would personally like to thank each of you who ever belonged to Keynote Singers. Many lasting friendships were made. It wouldn t be a proper Keynote goodbye without a little music so So Long, Farewell, Auf wiedersehen, adieu. In the spirit of music, Mariel Meysenburg and the Keynote Singers (Joanna Miller, Janet Day, Gail Barr, Susan Briggs, Melodee Quan, Melody Eichorn, Vernette Gilbert and Cathy Higgins) Treasurer s Report Penny Mannel Beginning Balance 7/ Income Expenses Ending Balance 8/31/10 $ Local Family Owned Growing with Parker since South Parker Road Near Parker Road & Lincoln Brochures Newsletters Stationery Carbonless Forms Flyers Posters Folders Invitations Postcards Books Magazines Catalogues Labels

October Biography Fran Cronin Rare to our membership is a bona fide Colorado native, born right here folks in Denver at the now closed Mercy Hospital where her mom trained and worked. Fran has lived all over our state: Pueblo, Leadville, Woodland Park, Divide, Rye, Aurora,(where she graduated from Aurora High School, the only one there at the time!) and finally landed in Parker in After meeting her husband in a youth group in 1964, they moved to New Jersey and she says this was very exciting for a cowgirl to be living on the big ole East Coast. She still enjoys many lasting friendships. They had 3 boys and a girl and now 11 grandchildren. After returning to Denver, they had a sad life changing occurence when her husband had a heart attack at age 37. He thankfully recovered and lived until Fran returned to school, getting her associate s degree and worked for the State of Colorado at Fort Logan Mental Health. While there, she continued in school part-time earning her Bachelor s in She completed her Master s and worked until retirement in Since then, she s been actively involved in Canterberry Crossing HOA and works part time at the Viking Sewing Gallery in Jo Ann s at Park Meadows. She loves to creat designer throw pillows that will knock your socks off! We re going to have her show them to us sometime. Fran s eldest son has retired from the Air Force and lives in Tucson, and her other 3 live in Colorado so she s able to enjoy her family and especially her 11 grandchildren. When Fran first joined PNC we noticed her sparkling personality and impish wit. She soon became involved and is now our 2nd Vice President. We re looking forward to many happy years with Fran and her get it done efficiently style. 4
