2 Minutes for HVMTC General Meeting February 1, 2017 Held at Charlie s, Escondido Attendees: Mac & Diane MacPherson, Karen Pepe, Dale & Eleanor Stanfield, Tony Bowker, Ann Tunnell, Warren Raps & Kathy Brown, Craig & Barbara French, Les & Barbara Van Nordheim, Ken & Merleen Magers, Vic & Stephanie Terrell, Doug Lested, Chuck Borough (19) Start Time: 6:45 p.m. President Mac MacPherson led the meeting. Craig led the Pledge of Allegiance. Vice President s Report: Phil reported he was here! Treasurer s Report: Diane reported we had $ in the bank. We have a new member, Chuck Borough, and he lives in Escondido. Welcome, Chuck! Secretary s report: Minutes were approved Old/New Business: Chuck is looking to learn about his T, whether it is 12V or 6V, and the list goes on and on and on. We have a potential place to hold our annual installation meeting. Warren is selling off his T and looking for offers and wants to remain a member even without his T, please make an offer if you are interested. Heather is done with radiation and solely taking Opdivo. We are all hopeful she will improve and be comfortable, Tony thanks us all for our thoughts, card, flowers, prayers. Tour Chair: January 15 th tour was a combined tour with the HCCA Temecula annual tour, beginning at the southeast corner between 395 and I15, at the new park and ride at 9:00 a.m., leaving at 9:30. It was a good tour. February 18 th - meeting at the Performing Arts parking lot at 9:00 a.m, leaving at 9:30, with a tour to the Batiquitos Lagoon. This has been pre-driven by Vic and Stephanie and Steph says it is a good tour, so get those Ts ready! Lunch will be at Casa something, confirmed by Doug as good! February th is the San Diego annual swap meet/parts exchange in the parking lot at Qualcomm Stadium March 11 th Warren Raps is looking to take us to a home near the Steam Engine Museum. There is a museum with a T with a kaleidoscope, antiques, etc. Sounds like a beautiful collection. March 31 st and April 1 st - the Arizona Speedster run in Verde Valley, AZ, in the cottonwood area, perhaps Sedona, should be an interesting trip. April 6 th 8 th is the annual Bakersfield tour (6 th ) and swap meet (7 th and 8 th ). April 9 th - the Concourse d elegance at La Jolla April 22 nd Potential installation lunch and T assist at Chuck s home in Escondido May 13 th We have a date for Les tour Fallbrook tour to the Larry Feece motorcycle collection in Rainbow. Starting at the park and ride at 76 and 15. We will get more specific when we are closer to the tour. We also need to have our installation luncheon in May. We are open to ideas. This was subsequently changed as Larry will be on an HCCA tour on that date. It is proposed that we join the HCCA on their tour to Ramona. (Ed) The meeting was adjourned at 8:00. Wanted Hello! My name is Matt Bouwense, and I am a fellow Model T enthusiast. I m reaching out to you in an effort to try to track down a specific 1924 Model T touring. The car once belonged to a Mr.

4 Wanted Hello! My name is Matt Bouwense, and I am a fellow Model T enthusiast. I m reaching out to you in an effort to try to track down a specific 1924 Model T touring. The car once belonged to a Mr. David Stueck of Wyckoff, NJ. In the mid 2000s, the car was sold along with a 1930 Model A Tudor to Mr. Charlie Della Monache from Lyndhurst, NJ. This gentleman then gave the T to his son, who sold it to an unknown friend in California. Since then, Mr. Della Monache has passed away, and his son is unreachable. The reason I m searching for this veritable needle in a haystack is because I am David Stueck s grandson. Many of my favorite childhood experiences revolved around my grandfather and his T. Unfortunately, the car passed from my family under non-ideal conditions. At the time of the car s sale, David was in the early stages of Alzheimer s, and he later regretted giving it up. To me, this vehicle is intriguing for its history and unique for its sentimental value. Unfortunately, I don t have an engine number. I have attached a photograph to this . I also have some superficial details that may have been altered since sale: 1) If I recall correctly, the engine suffered from a significant issue in the late 1990s/early 2000s. I believe it was a blown head gasket that had to be repaired 2) There was a tan AACA sticker on the windshield (lower passenger side)..3) The hand crank was present, but could not be engaged. I think it was disconnected by my grandfather for safety reasons... 4) The pedals had rubber "C", "R", "B" caps on them. 5) The spare tire had a tan cover. 6) There was a single circular red tail light. 7) There was a small tin AACA license plate topper on the rear plate (may have been removed) 8) Had NJ Historic plates QQ-B207. I will reward anyone for any information that leads to the successful reacquisition of the car. To compensate for any inconvenience, I will make the transaction profitable for the current owner.
