2 Welcome to QCarpet 2015 Established in 2010, QCarpet has evolved with the Rugs industry and it remains the middle east largest and most well established event of its kind. In 2015, QCarpet celebrates its the fourth edition and It will be held on February 12 to 18, 2015 at Doha, State of Qatar. QCarpet provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships, enter into contracts with manufacturers of handmade carpets and exchange experience. 3 About QCarpet The 4th Qatar International Carpet Exhibition (QCarpet) will take place on February 12 to 18, 2015 at Doha, State of Qatar. There will be more than 100 exhibitors in 5,000 m 2, located at the Doha Exhibition Centre, and showcasing the finest carpets around the world. QCarpet will especially feature Iranian, Kuwaiti, Syrian, Turkish, Indian, Afghanistan and Pakistani adds to all the Tibetan and Chinese rugs. The QCarpet will offer its visitors direct access to traders, manufacturers, leading distributors, and professionals from the manufacturing countries. Both handmade carpet, machine-made carpet and general carpet alike will be parts of the exhibition. Objectives of the Exhibition: Supply a wide variety of handmade carpets and machine-made carpets at the Exhibition pavilions. Create a favorable environment for marketing other countries carpets in a sound competitive setting. Diversify the product range by displaying carpets of various quality and price; facilitate carpet trade for participants who attend the exhibition. 16 Rules and Regulations 01. Certificate of origin & invoices must be legalized as usual. Also the country of manufacturer must be fixed clearly & readably on all products (stickers not accepted). All nutrition and food items should have at least six months validity before its expiry date. 02. The participant / exhibitor will have his stand three days before opening and to vacate it within one day after exhibition closing date. 03. Sub Organizer will have the right to take any decision related to the requested location and will do their best to satisfy everybody s needs. 04. It is not allowed to use the stand for any other purpose rather than displaying and selling the items agreed by the organizer. It is also not allowed to rehire the stand to any party without a written approval from the sub organizer. 05. It is the exhibitor / participant duty to keep his stand clean, tidy and without any garbage, cartons etc., and also to keep corridors clean and free. 06. The items security & insurance are the exhibitor / participant responsibility during the exhibition timing. 07. The decoration of the stand is up to the exhibitor which should be well done. Sub Organizer will provide 1 table, 2 chairs, 1 electrical powerpoint, 3 spotlights, carpet and one fascia with company name and stand no. to the exhibitor. For any additional decorations and special stands please contact the following companies: Maraya Exhibition Services - Tel: Electricity Supply (socket) 220V 240V. 13Amp will be available and for any additional power supply please contact the Exhibition Center. 09. Foreign participants should send a certificate of origin along with his list of items. All freight documents should be addressed to Al Shohob Cargo and Clearance Custom, P.O Box: 19427, Doha. Qatar. 10. Goods will not be transferred out of the exhibition center before exhibition closing period. 11. For Storage purposes, a tent of 2000 m 2 will be available on the back side of the Exhibition center. 12. All participants should not cause any damage to the stand by using nails, clipping or hammering. Otherwise he will be subject to charged against that from his own account. 13. No one is allowed to block all fire alarms, fire extinguishing equipment, smoke alarms, and sprinklers closing devices and emergency exits on hall doors and other safety equipments. 14. Sub Organizer has full rights to cancel, suspend or close the stand for any exhibitor who will violate any of these rules mentioned above. The participant will have to pay any pending amount which is to be paid to the Sub Organizer and he will not get any refunds. 15. Qatar Tourism Authority has full rights to cancel or postpone the date of exhibition under unforeseen circumstances and will not be responsible for any consequential loss caused due to is emergency cancellation. 16. Goods will be removed or transferred in or out of stand only during the timing scheduled by the exhibition center. 17. Exhibitor / participants / agents must pay the stand rental before Feb 01, In case of cancellation all amounts paid are not question to refund. 18. Exhibition / participants / agents must submit Visa Request Form with clear copy of passport before Feb 01, 2015 and visa request is not refundable.
