6 Item Belleville squared circle collection 1890 s, a superior collection of Belleville Ontario squared circle (scan represents a portion of the lot) which contains: 25 stationery postcards, 3 stationery envelopes (with 2 uprated with SQ), 7 Small Queen covers (including 1 front) and 20 stamps (including a SQ strip of 3 and 4). 35 covers/cards and 20 stamps total. 23 Item Thomas Ballantyne letter 1875, 1 SQ (strip of 3 with pre-affixing fault) tied by fancy cork cancel from Toronto on House of Assembly cover to Ottawa. The letter is from Thomas Ballantyne, Member of Provincial Parliament for Perth South Ontario (signature LL and on letter). He was Speaker of the Ontario Legislature. Lovely item. Some stain. $150.00
