The 2015 season saw a huge upgrade in our accommodation, we were proud to introduce our stunning 2 bedroom apartments complete with 42 TV, TV & DVD players in all bedrooms, wireless speaker dock, Jacuzzi bath, en suite shower rooms and balconies with stunning sea views. We welcomed the arrival of our brand new top of the range Swan 37x12 caravans with 2 bath/shower rooms, double glazing, central heating, extra insulation and dishwasher, some brand new Swan 32 x 12, 2 bed caravans that come complete with double glazing, central heating, extra insulation & front deckingsome with hot tub! Some of our Swan 32 s also have ramp access making it ideal for those with mobility issues. Finally, there was the addition of 9 brand new Sandpiper 28 x 10, 2 bed caravans and we also decided to make some of our Curlew and Seagull accommodation pet friendly caravans. 10 10 Ideally located, Surf Bay is an award winning family park with high standards and quality customer care, offering a wide choice of holiday accommodation. The park is beautifully presented with room to relax and space to breath. Surf Bay has it's own access to 600 acres of Northam Country Park which has a large variety of wildlife and the safe sandy beach of Westward Ho! which provides far reaching views across the bay and stunning sunsets. Each caravan holiday home is fully equipped to sleep up to 8 people and includes a flat screen TV, fridge, microwave and shower room. The park has seen several changes over the past couple of seasons. For the 2015 season we replaced our top of the range Kingfisher 37x12 with brand new caravans with 2 bath/shower rooms, double glazing, central heating, extra insulation and dishwasher and have added to our Kingfisher 32x12 range which offer flat screen TV's with DVD player, wireless speaker dock, double glazing, central heating, extra insulation and ensuite WC. You can also treat yourself and book a Kingfisher 32 with a hot tub if you really want to indulge. Due to popularity, we also decided to upgrade our pet friendly Pipit 28 x 10, 2 bed units with brand new caravans. For the 2016 season we are excited to introduce our brand new stunning apartments that are available to book from Whitsun and come complete with 42 Smart TV, TV & DVD players in all bedrooms, wireless speaker dock, Jacuzzi bath, en suite shower rooms and balconies with some enjoying glorious views over the Country Park. For a really relaxing break you can also book an apartment with a hot tub and enjoy a real treat. We have also replaced some of our Osprey's and Pipit's with brand new caravans. Many of our holiday homes have superb views over the Country Park or if you prefer, overlook our spacious open green in the centre of the park which allows children to play safely, whilst making new friends.. Launderette facilities are available on site should you require them and we also provide free WiFi access (see website for details). A short walk away is the village of Westward Ho! with shops, cafés, family friendly restaurants and bars. Children will love the many family attractions within a short distance or why not enjoy a daytrip by boat to Lundy Island and see the seals and puffins in a place of outstanding beauty. 15 Cornwall Cornwall s unique culture, spectacular landscape, mild climate and not to mention being one of the sunniest areas in the UK, have long made this one of the most popular UK holiday destinations. There are lots of things Cornwall is well loved for; the dramatic coastline with its captivating fishing harbours, the spectacular beaches and the pounding surf that provide a natural playground for a variety of water sports, and then of course who can forget famous Cornish pasties and luscious cream teas. Cornwall now has a multitude of award winning local food producers and stellar chefs putting the region well and truly on the gourmet map. Then there are Cornwall s beaches that are unrivalled elsewhere in Britain for their beauty and variety and are perhaps best known for their excellent surfing beaches, offering some of the best surf in the UK. Also on the coast are some of the Duchy s most enchanting fishing villages and harbours, Zennor and Mousehole are but a few. It s not just the villages that have something to offer those sightseeing, the towns (and city!) of Cornwall are rich in history and attractions of their own. Penzance is one of the largest towns in Cornwall and has plenty to do and see. From the sub-tropical Morrab Gardens to the bustling fishing port of Newlyn, you should find something of interest. It is also here that you can take a day trip to the Isles of Scilly by boat or air, plus it s within walking distance of Marazion and St Michaels Mount. With so many places to visit and so much to see and do, it s easy to see why Cornwall is the perfect place to spend your Holiday. 15

16 River Valley Country Park is tranquillity at its best, with 23 acres of green countryside to forget the hassle of modern living. The partly wooded park near St Michael's Mount, is situated in one of the most picturesque valleys in Cornwall, being just a few miles from both the north & south coast and their sandy beaches. The location along the bank of our clear shallow stream invites you to relax whilst you take in the wonderful countryside atmosphere. Nearby there are spectacular cliffs, granite moorland, flower filled lanes, wooded valley's and incredible wildlife. The park had been awarded a David Bellamy Gold Award, a great reflection on the ethos of the park. Our accommodation sleeps up to 8 people and offers a range of excellent facilities. Some of our accommodation is pet friendly and our standard accommodation includes a flat screen TV, microwave, duvets, gas & electric, fire in the lounge area and heated bedrooms & bathrooms to ensure you have a warm and comfortable stay. For the 2016 season we have added some brand new holiday homes to our Kingfisher & Kestrel range. These holiday homes offer an extremely comfortable stay and come complete with double glazing, central heating and extra insulation a real home from home! Our Cormorant caravans or spacious wooden lodges enjoy double glazing, central heating, dishwasher, DVD player and wireless speaker dock. For that extra special break, you can also book a lodge or Kestrel with a hot tub! 20 How to Book As a first time holiday maker with Surf Bay Holidays, there must be a million and one questions you will have. Please find below a step by step guide to booking your holiday and some useful tips to help you enjoy your time with us, from start to finish.. BOOKING To make a provisional booking, have your credit card details handy and simply book online or call the park direct. Alternatively complete a Booking Form and send it to your chosen park with your deposit. (You will need to complete a booking form in any event). Please be advised that peak season dates book very quickly, therefore it is advisable to contact the park direct prior to completing your booking form. DEPOSIT 8.00 per night ( per week) per Caravan/Lodge/Apartment at Surf Bay Holiday Park, Beachside Holiday Park or River Valley Country Park. Deposits are non-refundable. INSURANCE We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance cover before the start of your holiday. This must be paid with your deposit. The cost is 3.00 per night per Caravan, Lodge or Apartment. Please see the summary of cover at the bottom of the Conditions of Booking. BALANCE The outstanding balance for your holiday is due 42 days (6 weeks) prior to arrival, this date is also available to view on your deposit receipt. WHAT YOU'LL GET A full inventory of each accommodation type is available on request, however please remember to bring towels & tea towels with you as these are not provided as standard. ARRIVAL TIME 3.00pm. The park managers will do everything they can to have your accommodation ready for you as early as possible. You are more than welcome to contact the park prior to your arrival if earlier than 3pm, to check whether your accommodation is ready. If you anticipate your arrival being after Reception closing time (5pm), arrangements can be made for key collection, should prior notice be given. Please note that last arrival at RVCP is 8.30pm. WELCOME PACKS A Welcome Pack has been placed in your accommodation for your arrival. Each pack contains useful information & telephone numbers, plus things to do in the area. We feel you will benefit from reading the information it contains. DEPARTURE TIME 10.00am. Unless by prior arrangement with the park managers. ENTERTAINMENT All of our parks are family owned and we pride ourselves on peaceful, relaxing holidays. Although each park boasts plenty of space for children to play and cycle we do not have any entertainment. DOGS There is limited 'dog friendly' accommodation at all parks with a maximum of two dogs per unit. We ask all dog owners at all of our parks to keep their dogs on leads at all times and to exercise them off of the parks. LINEN Linen (bottom sheet, duvet covers & pillowcases) is provided as standard in some of our accommodation to accompany the duvets & pillows we provide, however in accommodation where it is not provided as standard professionally laundered linen packs can be hired at a cost of 9.00 a week/stay for a single and a week/stay for a double bed. For holidays longer than a week, linen changes are offered at the usual weekly charge. Cancellation Insurance Plan 1 We cannot emphasise too strongly the wisdom of taking up this insurance. Please note that no refunds of any kind, for whatever reason, can be entertained for those who do not choose to take advantage of these insurance arrangements. 2 This is priced at 3.00 per night for Timber Lodges, Caravan Holiday Homes & Apartments. If you have an accident at the park involving the accommodation, the equipment supplied, or the grounds you MUST inform the park management immediately where practical, but no later than your day of departure.
