Walk across the mill pond wall and National Trust common to find a waterfront café/ bistro and sandy beaches with rock pools for crabbing, providing something for all ages. They are also suitable for swimming, fishing and other water sports. The local village of St Helens is within a few minutes walk with bus stops, restaurants, local pub and convenience stores.
