2 2 THE MOMENT is finally here! Welcome to Loch Lomond and the 2018 LEN European Open Water Swimming Championships. Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park promises to showcase exciting sporting action set amongst some of the most stunning scenery in the whole of Scotland. All four events will use a 2.5km lap course, with the start, lap turn and finish all located within Drumkinnon Bay creating a natural stage for spectators and broadcasters to enjoy the action.

3 Local Attractions There are a number of local sights and attractions within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Why not take a scenic walk, hike, cycle or cruise around the loch. 4 Before You Leave Home Be prepared Items such as bags in excess of 25 litres, commercial photography equipment, glass containers, bulk food, balls, inflatable items and alcoholic beverages are not allowed in any of our venues. There will also be some restrictions on items such as flags and poles which can t be over 1mx2m. 6 Travel Information Loch Lomond is well served by trains and buses from Glasgow with a short walking distance to the venue. In order to experience a positive journey we encourage you to follow the advice as shown. Taxis Drop-off and pick-up is located within Loch Lomond Shores car park. Walking route Up to a 15 minute walk to Loch Lomond from Balloch Station. See map for details. Train Balloch Station is well served by trains from Glasgow Queen Street with services extending across Scotland. Accessible parking Loch Lomond Shores has existing blue badge parking available for permit holders subject to availability. Further information lochlomondshores.com Bus Service number: 1 and 1A from Osbourne Street, Glasgow to Balloch Bus terminus. Citylink operates several services from Buchanan Bus Station to Balloch. Spectator parking There are a small number of public parking spaces available at Loch Lomond Shores.
