3 Introduction by Brian McEnery President ACCA Ireland I am delighted to introduce the ACCA Ireland Programme of Events We have designed this programme to meet the CPD training needs of members in all business sectors throughout the country and I hope you will find a number of courses to suit you in By attending ACCA courses, you can develop your skills base and you can also avail of the opportunity to network with your peers. I would therefore encourage you to attend as many courses as possible in your region this year. This programme of events has been designed by your fellow members in consultation with the Members Services team in ACCA Ireland and I would like to thank members throughout the country for your on-going participation and support. In ACCA we are fortunate to have a wide network of active centres throughout the country. If you would like to get more involved, please contact the Members Services team listed on page 22. We have developed a number of new courses for 2010 and new locations including Drogheda, Kilkenny, Mullingar and West Dublin. The Business Leaders Forum will meet in Cork and Limerick as well as Dublin and the number of Corporate Sector courses has been increased to meet demand. Online booking was introduced for events in 2009 and the take-up has been very encouraging. Members report that booking online is fast and easy to use. You can access the online booking system for details of all the events by following the link.
