4 Travel to Swansea By Air The closest airports to Swansea are Bristol and Cardiff. Both airports have bus links to the local train stations. By Train Swansea is approximately: 3-3½ hours from London Paddington 1½ - 2 hours from Bristol Temple Meads Station 1 hour from Cardiff Central Station or 1½ hours from Rhoose (Airport) station For those arriving at the train station between 2-4pm on Thursday 25th, we may be able to arrange onwards transport to Clyne Farm Centre. By car Clyne Farm Centre is three miles from the centre of Swansea. If you are travelling West (eg: from London) leave the M4 at Briton Ferry (Junction 42) on the A483 signposted Swansea. Pick up signs for Mumbles and South Gower as you enter the city. Continue straight ahead on the A4067. This is a main road which follows the path of the shoreline of Swansea Bay with the sea on your left. If you are travelling East (eg: from Pembrokeshire) on the M4 leave at junction 47 and take the A483. Pick up signs for Sketty and Singleton Hospital. After three miles pass the hospital on your left and turn right at traffic lights signposted Mumbles onto the A pass playing fields before Blackpill and follow instructions below. After three miles pass the University on your right, then playing fields on your right and a nine hole golf course on your left. You will then enter the small village of Blackpill. There is a children's paddling pool lido area on the left. Here you need to be in the right hand lane. Just past the Woodman Pub (on right) and the Murco Petrol station (on left), turn right onto B4436 Mayals Road at part time traffic lights (right turn only as you are in the right hand lane) following brown and white tourist signs for 'South Gower' and 'Clyne Farm Centre'. Follow Mayals Road up the hill. You will be passing Clyne Gardens (behind walled area) on your right. Take the first turning on the right (after about half a mile) into

5 Westport Avenue. (If you start to drive into an area with common land either side of the road you have gone too far!) Drive through the houses to the top of the hill and turn right where you see the green Clyne Farm Centre sign. The office and reception area is on the left of the farmhouse. From Mumbles If you are coming from Mumbles drive along the main coast road (A4067) towards Swansea for about two miles. Turn left onto B4436 Mayals Road (left hand filter lane) and follow the directions above from that point.
