2 CONSENT ITEM 15/ RSL Website Report (Ref: SX-1) Memorandum dated 3 rd May 2013 from Ms C. Edwards, Reveille Media Officer. RESOLVED: That the RSL Website report is noted. REPORT & DIRECTION 16/13 1. Leave of Absence DR RG.Bain State Vice President for the period of 9 th to the 30 th August 2013 inclusive. RESOLVED: That leave is granted. 2. Centenary of the RSL 2016 (SC Minute 27/11.1. (b). (i).2) That the item is to be a permanent agenda item for State Council and State Executive. Report by Mr D. Rowe, State President. RESOLVED: That a date be set for a meeting after ASC Commemorative $2.00 Coin (SX Minute (9/13.3) That this matter is noted and is to be kept on the agenda. Report by Mr C. Perrin, State Secretary. RESOLVED: That the report be noted. 4. City of Liverpool RSL sub-branch (SX Minute 9/13.4) (i) That the matter be deferred to the next State Executive. RESOLVED: That the Business Services Manager investigate and if it falls within the By-Law guidelines that it be approved and if not that the sub-branch be advised. 5. New Income Streams (SC.Minute 17/13.14) (ii) That Terms of Reference be presented at the next State Executive.

(ii) Report on Dapto RSL sub-branch RESOLVED: That the report on the Dapto RSL sub-branch be noted and there be no further action at this time. RESOLVED: That Mr Eric Bell be thanked for his input. RESOLVED: That Standing Orders be resumed. COMPLIANCE REPORT 17/13 1. sub-branch/district Council Compliance Status Verbal report by Mr J.A. Boyle, Business Services Manager. RESOLVED: That the report is noted. 2. Lower North Coast District Council Correspondence dated 13 th May 2013 from Mr L. Gainey, Honorary Secretary LNCDC. RESOLVED: That State Executive agree to this request and dispensation to LNCDC for Nabiac RSL sub-branch be granted on this occasion.

RESOLVED: That the Riverina District Council be contacted with the view of arranging a meeting between the Ivanhoe RSL Club and the Ivanhoe RSL sub-branch with the view of rejuvenating the Ivanhoe RSL sub-branch. 4. Central Southern District Council Correspondence dated 14 th May 2013 from Mrs M Clarke, Hon Secretary CSDC. RESOLVED: That CSDC be given dispensation for Port Kembla RSL sub-branch on this occasion. RSL PROPERTY 18/13 1. Merimbula RSL sub-branch (Ref: SX-2) RESOLVED: 1. That approval is given on the understanding that sub-branch trustees are satisfied that the donations are made in the knowledge that the recipient(s) / organisation carry on work in support of those who have served and their dependents, and 2. That approval is given for Contingency Donations subject to: a) sub-branch member approval of the Recipient / Organisation, b) and that the donation amount does not exceed Constitutional Limitations as specified in the Property and Finance Regulation 5.2, and 3. That all benefits, financial assistance and payments paid by the sub-branch for mortality reasons are made in accordance with Property and Finance Regulation Chapter 6, and 4. Gunnedah RSL sub-branch RESOLVED: 1. That approval is given on the understanding that sub-branch trustees are satisfied that the donations are made in the knowledge that the recipient(s) / organisation carry on work in support of those who have served and their dependents, and 2. That approval is given for Contingency Donations subject to: a) sub-branch member approval of the Recipient / Organisation, b) and that the donation amount does not exceed Constitutional Limitations as specified in the Property and Finance Regulation 5.2, and 3. That all benefits, financial assistance and payments paid by the sub-branch for mortality reasons are made in accordance with Property and Finance Regulation Chapter 6, and 4. Byron Bay RSL sub-branch Seeking approval to invest in a Share Portfolio RESOLVED: That approval be given to Byron Bay RSL sub-branch to invest in a Share Portfolio to the value of $100, to $150, Clovelly RSL sub-branch Seeking approval for the sale of sub-branch property Clovelly Road, Clovelly RESOLVED: That approval is given for Clovelly RSL sub-branch to enter into a contract with Lloyd Rothschild Pty Ltd for the sale of sub-branch property Clovelly Road, Clovelly for the following principal terms: (i) The sale price is $3,050, (ii) Deposit of 10% to be paid on exchange of contracts and to be released to the Vendor. (iii) (iv) (v) Settlement is to be four (4) months from exchange of contracts. The sale is with vacant possession. The Contract will otherwise be in a form as approved by the sub-branch solicitors. And Subject To: (i) RSL Custodian Pty Ltd to be appointed Fourth Trustee for Sale Proceeds. 11. Riverstone-Schofields RSL sub-branch RESOLVED: 1. That approval is given on the understanding that sub-branch trustees are satisfied that the donations are made in the knowledge that the recipient(s) / organisation carry on work in support of those who have served and their dependents, and 2. That approval is given for Contingency Donations subject to: a) sub-branch member approval of the Recipient / Organisation, b) and that the donation amount does not exceed Constitutional Limitations as specified in the Property and Finance Regulation 5.2, and 3. That all benefits, financial assistance and payments paid by the sub-branch for

South Lake Macquarie RSL sub-branch Seeking approval to expend sub-branch funds on additional work to their sub-branch property 7 Yambo Street, Morisset RESOLVED: That approval be given for South Lake Macquarie RSL sub-branch to expend $35, for additional works to their sub-branch property 7 Yambo Street, Morisset. 13. Mungindi RSL sub-branch Seeking approval in principle to sell their sub-branch House. RESOLVED: That approval be given in principal for the sale by the Trustees of the Mungindi RSL sub-branch House property in St George Street Mungindi, providing the trustees are satisfied that the terms and conditions of the sale does not bring them into breach of their fiduciary responsibilities AND That such consent is given on the condition that the sub-branch conduct a ballot of all members, then holding of a further meeting to confirm the results of the ballot and to pass a resolution to sell and to seek the consent of State Council being given AND SUBJECT TO That RSL Custodian Pty Ltd be appointed an additional trustee together with the three sub-branch Trustees for the sale proceeds. 14.
