Phone number had joined our ranks and we welcome John to the Club WINDOW SCREENS DECALS We are negotiating at the present on window screens decals and next month's magazine I hope to be able to tell you that this matter has been resolved. CLUB PERMIT SCHEME Any member who wished to have their car registered under the Club Permit Scheme would need firstly to get a road worthy certificate from our member Nello Mafodda on and would need to see either Frank Douglas or Tom Verney to have the paper work signed and any Club member who wishes use a Club Permit car other than for a regular Club event can obtain a permit for the use from either Frank or Tom. CAR CLUB PRODUCTS AS A PRIZE During a recent Wine tasting night a prize given was that of the detailing of a members car by Alan Phelps who supplies discount car cleaning products to Clubs. Terry Whitehead was fortunate enough to win this prize and judging from a recent letter from Terry he was extremely happy with the preparation and work that was done on his car by Alan turning it into a gleaming clean presentable automobile. Alan Phelps who supplies various materials for cleaning cars at a very good price can be contacted on or after hours on Alan provides a wide range of various detergents, Tyre and bumper paint as well as materials for plastic and leather. We recommend that you give Alan a try and we are certain that you will be pleased at the end result.

It was a cold winters night but it was nice to be among FRIENDS SOCIAL EVENTS FOR AUGUST 15 August 29 August 11 September Visit to WERRIBEE PARK. We are to meet at the Todd Street Service Station which is at the eastern side of the Westgate Bridge at loam for a lo.15am departure and an enjoyable time at Werribee Park. Tour of the Mansion costs $10 for adults and takes approximately 1 hour and if you would like to catch a bus to visit the open range Zoo the bus tour price is $14 for adults. We are uncertain about the children prices but they would be less than adults. COME ALONG AND HAVE A VERY PLEASANT DAY. Visit to Stately Home NOORILIM which is in the Nagambie/Murchison area. For those leaving from the eastern side of Melbourne we will meet at Coldstream at am for an S.30am departure. For those going direct We suggest that you allow 2 hours from the GPO and adjust your time according to where you live from there, but we meet at the Water Tower in the main street of Nagambie at loam to leave at lo.45am sharp for the Mansion. THIS IS ONE NOT TO BE MISSED. This DB6 was purchased by a London syndicate direct from the plant in Newport Pagnell & shipped to Malasia. The designated owner was believed to be the Sultan of Johore Baharu. The car was imported from Singapore in 1981 & purchased by Ross & Pat in The mileage at that time was 28,528 & it has travelled approx. 15,000 miles over the past 16 years. It is in absolute original condition except for a bare metal repaint in The value of Aston Martins declined in the late 80's but is now significantly improving. A pleasure to own & to drive.
