Whilst this does not form part of the instructions it is intended to make your journey more interesting. Any detours you make to explore the surrounding sights en route should be retraced before continuing the hunt where you left off. TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE With our backs to the door of the Tourist Information Centre we cross the square towards the Abbey.

The centre provides a permanent exhibition which tells the story of his experience - the effect that living here had on him and his writing.
