1 OUTER BANKS UTILITY COORDINATING COMMITTEE MINUTES OF THE MEETING March 31, 2016 Tim Kesler called the meeting to order with a Safety Moment around 10:00 at the Kitty Hawk Office at 5300 The Woods Road, Kitty Hawk, NC and welcomed the new and old members. Howard Corey went over the ticket reports and we discussed them at the meeting, they are also on the Website for review. Recent Damages: DOMINION: 1 cut primary, 3 cut secondary s, 2 cut 4/0 services KDH: None. Upcoming Major Projects: Dominion: 3 rd Roanoke Crossing, Villa Dunes project, & UG work off Airport Rd, Manteo. KDH: Joint project w/nags Head E & W 8 th St repaving NC 12 to Water Plant, Sidewalk 1 st N of Lowes west side, E side of 158 Bypass (10 segments). Old/New Business: Discussed issues with locate notices and importance of not removing flags. Discussed luncheon in May. Talked about putting information sheets for locates in company vehicles. The next meeting (Luncheon) will be on May 26, 2016 at the Dominion Office at 5300 The Woods Road in Kitty Hawk, NC. The meeting adjourned around 11:34am.
