3 May Day Holiday Weekend Service Levels This section shows the level of service that can be expected on each day of the May Day Holiday weekend. Many long-distance services are expected to be very busy and advance seat reservations are strongly advised where they are available. Saturday 3 May A modified Saturday service operates on most routes. Major engineering work also affects services in several areas. Sunday 4 May Modified Sunday service operates on most routes. Major engineering work also affects services in several areas. Monday 5 May Special timetables operate on all routes, many based on Saturday or Sunday schedules.
