3 May Day Holiday Weekend Service Levels This section shows the level of service that can be expected on each day of the May Day Holiday weekend. Many long-distance services are expected to be very busy and advance seat reservations are strongly advised where they are available. Saturday 3 May A modified Saturday service operates on most routes. Major engineering work also affects services in several areas. Sunday 4 May Modified Sunday service operates on most routes. Major engineering work also affects services in several areas. Monday 5 May Special timetables operate on all routes, many based on Saturday or Sunday schedules. Tuesday 6 May A normal service is scheduled to operate on all routes, except that some early morning services will be affected by Monday's alterations. Some long-term engineering work will also affect a few locations.

4 Saturday to Monday Cross-London Connections Saturday-Monday Paddington-Victoria connections, and Victoria/Charing Cross-Blackfriars- Cannon Street-Fenchurch Street-Liverpool Street connections, will take longer due to partial closure of the District and Circle lines.
