Marshall $ 1,148,000 22A Plumbing Work (All Buildings) DeFranco Plumbing $ 426,420 23A Mechanical Work (North Buildings) Amber Mechanical $ 743,000 23B Mechanical Work (South Buildings) FE Moran $ 1,02,000 26A Electrical Work (North Buildings) Krause Electric $ 6,473 26B Electrical Work (South Buildings) Carey Electric Contracting $ 9,800 Total Cost $ 10,943,277 The summer 2017 renovation projects include life safety work at Northwood Middle School, Wayne Thomas Elementary School, Oak Terrace Elementary School, Indian Trail Elementary School, Edgewood Middle School, Sherwood Elementary School, Red Oak Elementary School, and Braeside Elementary School. The work includes security vestibule renovations and exterior improvements at each school. In addition, there is minor plumbing and air conditioning work included at Green Bay School. The fire alarm work is not included in this recommendation to award. With respect to this work, we have reviewed the above recommended firms bids and confirmed that they appear to understand the scope, schedule, and requirements of the work. These firms, with the exception of Joseph J. Henderson, have successfully completed similar work for Gilbane in the past. With regard to Joseph J. Henderson, we have reviewed their capacity and past project experience and they have been pre-qualified by Gilbane to complete much larger projects. We recommend approval of these bids as the lowest responsible bid. Please indicate the District s approval of the above by signing below and returning a copy to our office.
