What is new at Halloween Horror Nights this year? 8 terrifying mazes including Stranger Things, Trick r Treat, The First Purge, AMC s The Walking Dead Attraction, and more to be announced soon. There are 5 new scare zones awaiting you around every dark corner and an all-new Terror Tram experience. Plus, there s an all-new live show featuring the high-energy theatrics of Jabbawockeez. 2. What is Halloween Horror Nights? Halloween Horror Nights is a specially ticketed, nighttime event at Universal Studios Hollywood. On select nights from September to November, Universal Studios Hollywood is transformed into L.A.'s most terrifying Halloween experience, filled with walk-through maze attractions, intense scare zones, a mind-blowing live show, and high-octane rides and attractions. 3. What are the event dates? Select nights on September 14-November 3, Please check the event calendar for details. 4. What time does the event begin? Event starts at 7:00pm. 5. Is there anything that closes early? The Terror Tram line closes at 11:15pm on Halloween Night, Thursdays & Sundays and 11:45pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Plan your night accordingly so you don t miss the Terror Tram experience. 6. Where is Universal Studios Hollywood located? We are conveniently located right off the 101 (Hollywood) Freeway, approximately ten minutes north of Downtown Los Angeles. Exit either Universal Studios Boulevard or Lankershim Blvd. Our address is 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA Is there an age minimum for the event? There is no age minimum for the event. However, this event is recommended for mature audiences only and not recommended for children under 13. They will be exposed to extremely adult material. There are no refunds for this event.

2 8. What are the best nights to attend? Enjoy the best discounts and shorter wait times during the first 5 nights of the event: September 14, 15, 20, 21 & 22. **CHANGE AFTER THE FIRST TWO WEEKENDS TO: Enjoy the best discounts and shorter wait times on Thursdays and Sundays.** 9. Can I wear a costume or mask/make-up? Costumes, masks, face paint or make-up are not permitted at the event. Guests wearing costumes will be turned away at the front gate. 10. Can I leave the event and come back later in the evening? Sorry, re-entries are not permitted. 11. Are you using the trams and the studio backlot? Yes, guests will take the Terror Tram to the Universal backlot and will disembark to walk among some of the scariest sets on the backlot. 12. If it rains, will the event be cancelled? Event occurs rain or shine. No refunds will be given. 13. Will the regular rides and attractions be open? Several of Universal Studios Hollywood's favorite rides and attractions will remain open for the nighttime Halloween Horror Nights experience. Specifically, Transformers TM : The Ride - 3D, The Simpsons Ride TM, and Revenge of the Mummy SM - The Ride. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter TM, Studio Tour and other select attractions will not be open during this event. 14. Are tickets refundable? Sorry, no refunds will be available for this event. 15. Is my ticket also good for the Halloween event at Universal Orlando? Your ticket is only good for admission to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, in Los Angeles.

3 16. How can I cut to the front of the lines? Make the most of your visit by purchasing an Universal Express TM Ticket. Tickets are very limited and often sell out so purchase them early. 17. Will there be food available at the event? Yes. Bring your appetite because many of the theme park's restaurants will be offering goodies to kill your hunger pangs. 18. Does my daytime park admission allow me to stay for HHN? Your ticket is only valid for daytime admission. 19. Can I bring food and drinks into the park? Sorry, no outside food or beverages are allowed inside Universal Studios Hollywood. 20. Are CityWalk restaurants offering discounts? Yes, most quick service and select restaurants are offering discounts or free-with-purchase deals. 21. Is alcohol served at the event? Alcohol will be served at select locations during certain hours, subject to availability. Outside drinks not permitted at Universal Studios Hollywood during Halloween Horror Nights. Valid State or Government ID required for proof of age 21 or older for alcohol consumption. IDs will be checked. 22. Where can I get more information? Prior to park arrival, download the Official Universal Studios Hollywood TM Park app from the App Store or Google Play to check the latest wait and show times. Information is also posted on a regular basis on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram. 23. How much is parking? Parking information can be found here. 24. How does daylight savings time affect Halloween Horror Nights?

4 It does not affect the event, daylight savings time ends at 2:00am November 4, at which time the park will close. 25. Are there any restrictions to going through the mazes? Mazes contain loud sounds, sudden movements, and effects which may be too intense for children. Parental discretion advised. Persons with the following conditions should not experience mazes: Heart Conditions or Abnormal Blood Pressure Expectant Mothers Medical Sensitivity to Strobe Effects Medical Sensitivity to Fog Effects Fear of Enclosed Spaces 26. How do you accommodate guests with disabilities? Universal Studios Hollywood prides itself on providing complete and convenient access for all our guests with disabilities. Many rides, attractions, escalators and parking structures are designed to comfortably accommodate guests in wheelchairs and other disabilities. There are designated guests-with-disabilities entrances for all our attractions in the park. 5 option 9. Please complete the form to include your date of visit and number of guests in your party and we will be in touch in 1-2 business days. 28. Are service animals allowed in the park? Service animals are permitted into our event. Guests with service animals should see attendant for further assistance. Service Animals are welcome in all of our restaurant and merchandise locations, attraction queues and most other locations throughout Universal Studios Hollywood. Additionally, there are specific entry/boarding requirements for each attraction and maze to assist the service animal s owner in making an informed decision about their animal s safe admission. Please consult the listing for each ride and attraction in our Rider s Guide for Rider Safety and Guests with Disabilities or our designated entrance signs for more information. 29. How do you accommodate guests who require mobility assistance? Guests may remain in standard wheelchair throughout. Guests using Electric Convenience Vehicle should see attendant for assistance. Wheelchair and ECV s (Electric Convenience Vehicle) rentals are available for rent just inside the park, across from the Universal Studios Store. The rental fees are: Wheelchairs $15; ECVs $60. There is a $25.00 refundable deposit fee for wheelchair rentals. 30. How do you accommodate guests with oxygen tanks? Oxygen tanks can be brought with you at some of our attractions and mazes. However, due to the dramatic movement of the ride vehicles and certain flame effects at Universal Studios Hollywood, oxygen tanks are not permitted at the following locations: Lower Lot Revenge of the Mummy The Ride Transformers : The Ride-3D Upper Lot: (There is extra space by upper lot) The Simpsons Ride For these attractions, please see team member at the attraction entrance for assistance. 31. Is there security or police on property? For the safety and convenience of our guests, Universal Studios Hollywood has a Los Angeles Sherriff s Department Sub-Station on premise at Universal CityWalk Center Court.
