Expect warm temperatures during the summer month of July. Pack lightweight clothing and items to protect you from the sun and rain. The temperature in meeting rooms is at times controlled by the resort central air conditioning system. We recommend you bring a sweater. Getting around the Walt Disney World Resorts Transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort, includes, Bus, Boat and Monorail. Here is a rundown of transportation within the resort: By Bus: Most areas of the Walt Disney World Resort are accessible by bus from other areas within the Resort, including Theme Parks*, Water Parks, the Disney Resorts and the Downtown Disney area. Buses travel on routes throughout the Resort and do not provide direct service between all destinations. *Magic Kingdom Park is not accessible by bus from Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Polynesian Resort. These Resorts provide monorail transportation to the park. By Boat: The Magic Kingdom Park is accessible by water launch from Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The Disney ferryboats connect the Magic Kingdom Park to the Transportation

2 and Ticket Center (adjacent to Magic Kingdom Park parking). Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are accessible by boat from Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villas Resort, Disney's Yacht Club and Disney's Beach Club Resorts and the Walt Disney World Swan and Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotels. Downtown Disney is accessible by ferryboat from Disney's Port Orleans Resort and Disney's Old Key West Resort. By Monorail: Disney's Monorail runs between the Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort and the Transportation and Ticket Center (adjacent to the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot). A connecting Monorail takes Guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Epcot. Staying at Disney Beach and Yacht Club Disney's Beach Club Resort is a New England-style Disney Deluxe Resort, shaded by broad oak trees and lapped by the gentle waters of Crescent Lake. 3 Ship Shape Health Club: Located between Lafferty Place Arcade and Periwig's Salon in the Yacht and Beach Club Common area, and free of charge to Resort hotel Guests, this health and fitness offers massage therapy (by appointment), body treatments, skin care and hair services and saunas and steam rooms for men and women. State-of-theart fitness equipment by Nautilus and Hammer Strength includes treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers, regular and recumbent bicycles, weight machines and free weights. Babysitting and Childcare Services: Disney's Beach Club Resort makes a parent's night out possible with the Sandcastle Club, a supervised activity center that accommodates children ages 3 to 12. While you enjoy your evening your kids are treated to arts and crafts, computer games, Disney movies, dinner and snacks in an environment created just for them. Reservations are required for the Sandcastle Club, open daily from 4:30 p.m. to midnight. Together with independent childcare provider Kids Nite Out, Disney's Beach Club Resort also offers you the convenience of one-to-one in-room babysitting, allowing you the flexibility to enjoy your vacation your way. You can even reserve a childcare specialist to accompany you and your family during your visit to the Parks, providing a helping hand where needed. Please note that in-room childcare is available for children ages 6 months to 12 years. Dinning at Disney Beach and Yacht Club Cape May Café offers all-you-care-to-eat breakfast and dinner buffets in a lively beach-themed restaurant. Dress Code Guidelines- Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts. Sport coats are optional. Ladies: Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts. Fishing Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas provide Bass Fishing Excursions at the marina. Excursions last approximately 2 hours and take place along Crescent Lake. Fishing guides and equipment are provided. Tusker House Restaurant (Animal Kingdom) This is one of the best counter service restaurants at any of the theme parks. Tusker House is nicely themed and there is plenty of seating available. You can get a big plate of hot breakfast items for about $5, and the pastries are fabulous. Later in the day lunch is served, including delicious rotisserie chicken and several sandwiches. Tusker house is a great place to get out of the heat and get some good food quickly. (Animal Kingdom) 9. 50's Prime Time Cafe (Disney MGM Studios) - Casual Sit-Down - The Prime Time Cafe is not so much a restaurant as an experience. The 50 s theme is evident in the décor, where guests sit in a kitchen and are served by their waiter Dad or waitress Mom. Be warned, your server will not be hesitant to scold you about elbows on the table

8 or failing to finish your vegetables! The menu is classic comfort food such as fried chicken and pot roast. 8. Boulangerie Patisserie (Epcot Center) - Counter Service - This busy little bakery is located in the France section of Epcot s World Showcase. The pastries are to die for, and make a perfect treat to eat while waiting for the nightly firework show to start. Selections include Chocolate Mousse, Croissants, and Palmiers.. All of the treats are under $5.00. The line can seem overwhelming at this bakery, but it moves fast as there are two sides of the bakery serving. Cute café tables are available outside the bakery. Just remember, calories don t count when you are on vacation! 7. California Grill (Contemporary Resort) - Sit-Down - Business Casual - Located at the the Contemporary, this restaurant offers the best views of any Disney eatery. The food is fabulous and diners are entitled to use the restaurant's private verandah for fireworks that evening regardless of their reservation time. 6. San Angel Inn (Epcot Center) - Sit-Down One of the more romantic place to dine in any of the theme parks. Diners get to enjoy the ambience of the Mexico pavilion, complete with a starry sky and view of the boat ride and temple scene. The service here is fabulous, and the restaurant is quieter than many others in the park. Although the atmosphere is more formal than some other restaurants, theme park attire is always acceptable within the parks. 5. Spoodles (Boardwalk) - Casual Sit-Down - Spoodles is open for all three meals. The atmosphere inside is bright and cheerful, with wooden tables and mismatched fiesta ware dishes. The original concept for this Mediterranean restaurant was that it would offer only Tapas, small portions of food to be shared. The menu has broadened a bit to include regular entrees as well. The Flatbreads are delicious, and every meal comes with crusty bread and hummus. The Pork Chop on mashed potatoes is very nice as well, with a unique sauce and spices. 4. Main Street Bake Shop (Magic Kingdom) - Counter Service - There is something very special about stopping for breakfast on Main Street. The baked goods are fresh and homemade. The shop is not very crowded when the park opens, but it can get busy around 10 when people start to take a break. Stopping here for breakfast isn t necessarily a great idea if you are on a tight schedule, but if you have a little extra time to relax its fun to sit here and watch the crowds go by in the morning. 3. Kona Cafe (Polynesian) - Casual Sit-Down - The food has Polynesian influences, but not too adventurous for picky eaters. The Barbecued Pork Sandwich and Mahi-Mahi sandwich are particularly good. There is a great dessert menu, though, and it s a fun place to stop by for dessert after watching fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. 2. Le Cellier (Epcot Center) - Casual Sit-Down - Le Cellier has a cozy atmosphere, great service, and some of the best steaks you will find. This is a great place to take a

9 break from the hustle and bustle of the theme park. Don't miss the apple cobler for dessert. 1. Victoria and Albert s (Grand Floridian Resort)- Formal Sit-Down -. This restaurant is the most formal at Disney, requiring a jacket for men. Service is fabulous and the atmosphere is very elegant, complete with harp music in the background. Guests receive a personalized menu, and ladies are given a rose at the end of the evening. Of course, this experience is not cheap, the set price is $95 per person. The menu changes daily, but includes six courses. Downtown Disney What's there to do when you're not in the Parks or it's way after dark? Day or night at Downtown Disney area, choose from dining with dinosaurs to a distinctly Disney shopping extravaganza to catching incredible live music and shows! Divided into 3 sections Downtown Disney West Side, Downtown Disney Marketplace and Pleasure Island Downtown Disney area is an ever-changing destination committed to keeping the experiences exciting and new. Downtown Disney West Side Downtown Disney West Side showcases top-notch restaurants, a 24-screen AMC Pleasure Island movie theater, and other uncommon shops.
