These birds have had massive success in open Association/Federation conditions across Australia and in limited One Loft Racing they have performed in. Many of Australia s top fanciers have also had high success with the Hamilton Pigeons. Greg had his first full season racing seriously in 2008, since that time the loft has topped the SAHPA competition on no less than 18 times in all events, 11 times in the SAHPA Open Association competition. Added to these several hundred places in the first 30 in the SAHPA with an average of around 3000 plus birds which highlights the dominance the loft has had against strong competition. 5 Foreword I have had the pleasure to know Greg for over 20 years and race against Greg Hamilton in the strong Metropolitan club in the SAHPA for the past 5 years. Greg learnt his craft in the strong Horsham club in Victoria and was a highly successful fancier in Horsham winning 3 Horsham combine Aggregate pts with over 40 members and numerous club & sectional averages & 25 Horsham Combine winners, prior to making the move to Adelaide in After several moves in Adelaide, Greg finally settled at Angle Vale in 2006, in the outer NW suburbs of Adelaide not deemed the most favourable position in the SAHPA, in fact some well-known Northern suburbs fanciers told him it was a terrible location and that he would never win a race there, well half of that prophecy is true... Greg has continually won out of turn and regular SAHPA wins in both open SAHPA level and in the open SAHPA SDC competition as well as high success in the Gold Coast 50000, Wellington10000, Adelaide and Adelaide PC one loft races. Over the past decade Greg has considerably shifted focus in relation to bloodlines in the quest for high level success, importing countless top birds from some of the world s top fanciers with no expense spared with the ultimate goal to develop his own high performance strain which is largely a combination of Van Loon, Janssen, Heremans-Ceusters, Gaby Vandenabeele and C&G Koopman with the obsession of making a quality high performance strain. Many of Australia s top fanciers can attribute their high-level success from birds they have obtained from Greg Hamilton. Greg is the ultimate professional in all aspects of pigeon racing and breeding he is a dominant fancier who is at times unbeatable and his stock sense and selection is second to none.
