You re advised to check your train times before travelling by visiting crosscountrytrains.co.uk Major work will be taking place at the following locations during the timetable, which will affect weekday services: Oxford: July Bristol: October November Derby: July October 6

8 What is Derby Resignalling? From Sunday 22 July - Sunday 7 October 2018 (inclusive) the track and signalling in and around Derby station is being improved and replaced. Derby station remains open throughout the work but customers travelling to, through and from Derby will experience some disruption and changes to their journey at different times during these works. What these works will deliver: New platform (opposite existing Platform 6) to be used primarily by services heading to London and includes two new lifts and a First Class lounge. This work is already underway and will finish in early July. New track and signalling The current infrastructure is in need of replacement. Old signalling will be replaced whilst improving the track layout. Improved track layout At present, all trains to and from Birmingham and all trains to and from London have to cross one junction, which can delay services. The new layout will remove a key bottleneck on the approach to Derby station from the south. For further information please visit derby2018.co.uk 7
