For those who joined us Sunday, it was certainly a ride to remember. an awesome route, great scenery, sunshine and sunburns to prove it.

Falcons Fury Roadmap 3586 Glad to be Here, Well it is no secret that the weather bug bit us again this past Saturday, on what would have been the Air Show Ride. For those who joined us Sunday, it was certainly a ride to remember. an awesome route, great scenery, sunshine and sunburns to prove it. For those who could not make the new date, I have feeling this will not be last time our Motorcycles join Airplanes for a great destination ride. HUGE Thank You and Kudos to Diane Fowler for planning an unforgettable day. Folks, she nailed it! The Blue Angels were certainly the highlight of the trip. Upcoming Highlights: Ride to Chief Van House in Chatsworth Sat May 2!! Join us for a ride to Poole's Real Pit BBQ in East Ellijay and a stop at the Chief Vann House Historic Site in Chatsworth. **Note: This is an advanced ride over curvy mtns roads and not for beginners Cherokee Over-Nighter! - With Toes in the Sands to St. Augustine a great 1Q memory, we now have a second over-night 2015 Chapter Trip scheduled for the last weekend of July to the mountains! Pencil-in the weekend for a nice ride and time to relax and enjoy the mountains; additional details forthcoming! Drive-In Movie Night this will be a Chapter event planned afterhours at FFHD NA GA Waterfall Ride this will be a day ride, including a short waterfall walk and relaxing bag/picnic lunch alongside Weekday Rides these rides have become very popular now that the weather is warmer! Watch for and join! Monthly Dinner Rides come along for brief ride routes, dinners, and a sunset rides home! Ice Cream Rides we all scream to ride and have ice cream! Check out our Activities Calendar and make plans to join upcoming rides..it will do your soul good! Not only that, but when we have a large group of riders, those same guidelines state the riders should be divided into two groups, with each group lead by four RC's.

14 Captain s Log It takes a village to lead a group ride. OK, maybe not a village. How 'bout this: it takes a group to lead a group ride. Our Chapter Road Captain guidelines state we should have four RC's to lead a group of FFHOGs on a Chapter Ride. Not only that, but when we have a large group of riders, those same guidelines state the riders should be divided into two groups, with each group lead by four RC's. That's eight RC's when we have a large turn out of riders. (See, Mom? I really did do my math homework!) So what's my point? I thought you'd never ask! My point is, we are blessed to have some really dedicated and talented RC's working hard to give us great riding experiences. If you missed the St. Augustine ride, or the Blue Angel Airshow ride, you missed two golden opportunities to avail yourself of well-planned and well-executed riding experiences. Notice I didn't say just rides. I said riding experiences. It takes a lot of planning to make these rides happen. And that doesn't count the hours preriding to ensure the routes offer a balance between fun roads and safe roads. So do me a personal favor if you would, and make May and June Give an RC a Hug Month. You can also show your appreciation by doing something you love to do anyway ride your motorcycle on Chapter Rides. 16 AH, April Showers bring May Flowers. Ok, you can tell this wasn t a Biker that said this. I Love the beauty of Spring. All the Flowers and Trees blooming, the little animals scouring around again (hopefully not under my wheels). To me it s GOD s way of reminding me, he is in control. He did all of this without my help, but you know what? HE is like the loving Father with a child to Love and care for HIS people and to lead them to HIM. HE doesn t scream and yell, he is waiting for us to call on him, believe in HIM, and his bountiful Grace surrounds us. As we get out on our Bike s I pray you will be safe and protected and to have a life that has joy and happiness, and a fulfillment that can only be recognized through a relationship with our Heavenly Father.
