5 WELCOME As President I welcome you to not just a show, but the CALLINGTON SHOW! This Show which is on 30 th October 2016 has quickly built up a fantastic reputation as one of the best country shows in South Australia. Hopefully this year it will continue to build on this reputation. Actually we will be looking to the sky to see our Young Rural Ambassador sky dive on to the lower oval. Also two hot air balloons will be inflated. A new feature will be to ride on a Segway. Without going into more detail of new and old attractions (which are listed elsewhere), we are confident there will be plenty for you to do and see, whether you are a child, a teenager, a senior or in between. So much is free because we have so many generous sponsors. For a small community like Callington, the enthusiastic Show Committee, convenors and volunteers do a fantastic job in presenting this Show. The number of volunteers is quite amazing. In no small way every entertainer, exhibitor and stall holder contributes to the Show's success. Thanks to all of the above. And now last but not least, whether you are attending for the first time or are a regular attender who spreads the word of our great show, I would love to see you having a wonderful time at the Show. Remember! Our Show is only 30 minutes from the Tollgate. Clive Wundersitz The Calli Trail Travel along the Calli-Trail at the 2016 Callington Show where you will collect stacks of goodies from trail participants around the oval. Goodies may include: lollies, food, potatoes, stickers, vouchers, free passes, and lots more!!!!!!! Please note some goodies have limited numbers. Every purchase of a Calli Trail bag, goes into the draw to win a family pass to the Maritime Museum. 6
