Annual holiday fundraiser Features wonderland of 150 sparkling trees Trees are decorated and donated by businesses, organizations + individuals 25,000+ attendees Proceeds benefit the Salisbury Beach Partnership s Campaign to Bring Back the Historic Salisbury Beach Carousel.

AFTER FESTIVAL Rink will be open late December to late February for skating on weekends, during school vacation week and for private parties. $5 fee.

23 Volunteer Positions Raffle Ticket Sales Instruct visitor on how to fill-out raffle ticket form IMPT! Tell buyer to list a phone number where they can be reached on Sunday evening December 2nd between 5-9pm Check card to be sure all info is legible and complete Ask how many sheets of raffle tickets buyer would like to purchase Each sheet has 25 tickets for $5 continued...
24 Volunteer Positions Raffle Ticket Sales Charge buyer correct amount, $5 per sheet of tickets Before handing buyer the raffle ticket sheets, tear off the top left corner ticket and staple to Raffle Ticket Form Tell buyer to keep the larger bottom left claim ticket. THEY NEED THIS TICKET IF THEY WIN A TREE. Explain to buyers that they can place each individual ticket in a tree of their choice for a chance to win that tree.
25 Volunteer Position Showcase Raffle Ticket Sales Separate raffle for trees with prizes valued at $1,000 or more Buyers DO NOT fill out Raffle Ticket Form. Showcase Raffle tickets are RED. Price is $5 each or 5 for $20 Buyers need to print Name, and Phone clearly Place stub with info in any of the SHOWCASE RAFFLE dispensers; keep other half. White raffle tickets are not eligible for these trees or prizes!
26 Volunteer Position Santa Helper Provide water/soda to Santa and assist Santa as needed. Hand out candy canes to children who visit Santa. Keep Santa Letter table neat and replenished with Santa letters/pencils. Put out the sign when Santa takes breaks
27 Volunteer Attire Casual, festive holiday attire. No jeans, please Clean, pressed clothing. Good personal grooming habits. Volunteer badges with lanyards provided day of. Festive spirit and a bright smile!
28 Volunteer Do s & Don ts Keep money neat, but please DO NOT count money. Pick up tickets on the floor, but DO NOT put tickets in raffle ticket holders. Other than bottled water, please DO NOT have alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages or snacks on the table where you are volunteering.
29 Volunteer Parking & Arrival Plan to arrive in Volunteer Room 15 minutes prior to your scheduled shift. There is free parking for volunteers in the lot next door on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendant will have a list of each day s volunteers. Proceed to Seaglass Lobby. Identify yourself as a volunteer to attendant at base of stairs to gain admission. Proceed to 2 nd floor volunteer room.
30 Volunteer Arrival Store your belongings at your own risk. Check in with Volunteer Manager and receive any updates on Festival activities. Place a Volunteer Badge and Lanyard around your neck. Help yourself to coffee or water. Proceed to assigned location.
31 Volunteers Communication! Illness or Family Emergency? If you cannot be here for a shift, please us info@seafestivaloftrees.com Festival Closure Due to Snow We will contact you to cancel if the Festival will closed due to weather. If you are not comfortable traveling on the roads during a snowstorm, please let us know.

35 What To Do in an Emergency Medical Emergency: Remain calm. Call 911 from your phone. Our address is 4 Oceanfront North, Salisbury Local Emergency Numbers: Salisbury Police Dept Salisbury Fire Dept Notify a Festival Manager. Do not move victim. Only administer CPR if you are certified. NOTE: A defibrillator is located on the 1 st level, bottom of stairs in lobby.
36 What To Do in an Emergency Fire Alarm Sounds Remain calm. All visitors must be evacuated. No exceptions. Whether or not there is a real emergency, laws require a complete evacuation of the building. Encourage guests to walk, do not run. Guide guests to nearest emergency exits. 1 st floor 5 emergency exit doors 2 nd floor 3 emergency exit doors + stairs Elevator will not operate during fire alarm
37 What To Do in an Emergency Fire Alarm (continued) Continue to remain calm. Guide or tell guests to proceed down the front building stairs to the parking lot on outside of building. Guests will not be allowed to stand on the walkway. Guests will be allowed back inside the building once the Salisbury Fire Department has checked the premises.
38 What To Do in an Emergency Lost Child Smile. Ask child s name. Tell them you will get help. Remain calm. If with the child: Stay with the child. Remain at raffle table closest to where you found the lost child or the child found you. Ask a fellow volunteer to find a manager. If with parent: Notify or direct parent to a manager. NOTE: Managers have radios and will alert security and other staff near exits.
39 What To Do in an Emergency Suspicious Activity or Package Remain calm. If you suspect or witness fowl play, theft, deliberate damage to a tree or the facility, notify a manager. Write down a description of the individual. Do not handle a situation on your own. Managers and security personnel are trained to handle incidents.
