1 2015 Population SR No April 2017 Population of the Municipality of Pili (Capital) The population of Pili (Capital) as of 2015 is 89,545 Pili (Capital)'s population as of August 1, 2015 was 89,545, based on the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN2015). The municipality is the fourth most populous city/municipality of Camarines Sur. The 2015 population is higher by 7,238 compared with the population of 82,307 in 2010, and by 22,152 compared with the population of 67,393 in Table 1. By comparison, the rate at which the municipality's population grew during the period 2000 to 2010 was higher at 2.02 percent. Table 2. Barangay San Jose had the biggest population of 12,599 persons in 2015 and accounted for about percent of the municipality's population. It was followed by Barangay Palestina with 6,096, and Barangay Caroyroyan with 5,855 persons. The combined population of these three barangays accounted for about percent of the population of Pili (Capital) in Barangay Santo Niño was the smallest barangay in 2015, in terms of population size, with 1,044 persons. This represents an increase of 57 persons per square kilometer from the population density of 652 persons per square kilometer in In 2000, there were about 534 persons residing in every square kilometer of land in the municipality.
