Paracas is located at sea level for being a bay, on the other hand, Nazca is not so close to the coast and is at a height of 600 meters above sea level. The climate is hot and dry, especially in summer (December to May) time when the temperature becomes 27 C. Between June and November the temperature is lower (18 C). In this region the rains are very rare; however, are common in Paracas garúas. Another place of interest is included in the tour is the "Candelabra", which is a huge figure as a candlestick or trident 120 meters long dug into the side of a hill overlooking the sea.
