Stability of the free availability and remittance of foreign currency regime. Stability in the general tax regime (Income Tax, Customs Duty, Sales Tax). No discrimination between national and foreign investors. Guarantee of private property. Freedom to purchase stocks from locals. Freedom of access to internal and external credit. Freedom to remit royalties and profits. Free access to mining property for nationals and foreigners alike. By exception, foreigners require a government permission granted through a Supreme Decree to operate within 50 km from the national borders Information transparency. 12 INCOME TAX FROM THE ECONOMIC SECTORS The Peruvian State collects 33% of the total Income Tax thanks to Mining Activities, which is then distributed as an economic contribution for the development of the Peruvian Regions.
