WEATHER During the dates of the Seminar, the temperature in the city of Buenos Aires will vary on average from maximum 20 C and minimum 13 C. VISA The documents or visas rquired to enter Argentina vary according to the original conuntry, depending on the migratory treaties in place. Thus, it is suggested that each participant verify what the specific requirements are, by approaching the embassies and consulates in their countries. In the following link, a list issued by the Argentinean Migratory Department with detailed information on visa requirements is provided: It is recommended that the participants acquire a travel and health insurance to cover their stay in Argentina. 7. CURRENCY AND EXCHANGE 5

6 The currency in Argentina is the Peso Argentino. The exchange-rate is floating and varies from approximately and pesos per US dolar, for purchase and sale, respectively. The currency exchange can be done at banks and foreign exchange houses located throughout the city. Additionally, it is posible to withdraw money from the ATM network. Credit and debit cards are accepted in the majority of the commerces, restaurants and hotels. The value of the currency bills is: 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 pesos. The coins have the following value: 1 peso, 2 pesos, 50, 10, 5 cents of peso. 8. DRESS CODE The dress code for the opening and closing of the seminar is formal. For the remaining days, the dress code is business casual (jeans and tennis shoes will not be acceptable). 9. LANGUAGE The official languages of the Seminar are Spanish and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided during the event. 6
