After 5 years in BA, I returned to USA for an intended 2 years that turned into 14, and I finally came back to Argentina in 2004 with my wife and daughters. Everything is written in clear, concise and on point chapters. The way I like my guides! What it doesn't say is what's missing. Hot clubs, good restaurants,maps. What a surprise to get here and discover American cash is gold. Wish we'd brought more!! Spent too much time trying to get money at ATMs. Book left out day to day information My friends and I recently took a trip to Buenos Aires and found this guide extremely helpful. While we had purchased other lengthier guidebooks in the states we quickly realized when reading "Buenos Aires Made Easy" that the other books had not made essential facts as clear or prominent as they should have (like the fact that you have to pay a $160 fee to enter the country from the US!)

4 Mr. Candal is a local who knows the city well and truly tells you what you need to know to have a great trip. If you're only grabbing one book before you go, make sure it's this one! This quick and easy read gives you all the essentials you need to know about Buenos Aires. From what converters to pack prior to the trip and information you need to get through immigration (i.e. keep your dollars crisp!), this book covers it all. Great read for Day Trips and Restaurant suggestions!i used the access from my Kindle to read this book on-the-go while traveling from my iphone and ipad as well! Talk about handy! This book proved to be an easy read. It is written by a local and contains lots of facts and tips about "the safest city in Latin America" that no one will tell you. Enjoyable and light this book is a must before you come to Buenos Aires. It covers all: security, currency exchange, taxi, buses, neighborhoods, and things to do and watch out for. Adequate summary of the most important information a tourist is looking for, would have appreciated a bit more detail and suggested itineraries--make it really easy! Not great, but not bad. Clear, concise, and very informative introduction to Benos Aires. This ebook along with Buenos Aires Unanchor Travel Guide really helped me prepare for my trip. Since I don't have a tablet, I would advise printing off some of the pages in each book to have in pocket while on the streets.
