The grammar is bad enough in places that it makes it nearly impossible to understand, and it reads like it was written either as a report by a third grader without spell check or a proofreading adult, or a hasty individual in an afternoon wielding English as a second or third language. If you seek guidance in technique or method look elsewhere and save your money. If you don't know what a hammer or anvil is, or that you need to get metal hot to work it, then by all means. This is a brief overview of the art of blacksmithing.it touched on the history & several aspects of metal work. This is a fascinating book, not only for the mystery that the lead character, Adam Kaminiski, is trying to uncover, but in the history and political workings of Poland where the book is set. The story and the pace were fast, but no so much that you felt details were being glossed over. It kept me on my toes and guessing until the end. There were several stories that intertwined, but not so much that it was confusing. I really did enjoy the book and recommend it. I was given a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review and hope it is helpful to both the author and the reader.
