19 The hierarchical nature reserve management system in China National nature reserve: authorized by the State Council. Provincial nature reserve: authorized by the provincial government. Other level nature reserve: authorized by the local government correspondingly.

21 Nature Reserves of forest aspect there are 2126 nature reserves managed by forest agencies with million ha, covers about 12.7% total land areas, among them 263 are national nature reserves. The number and areas are made up about 80% of the total. 3 national nature reserves managed by SFA directly (Wolong, baishuijiang, foping )

30 Forest ownership reform State (State-owned forests) Community (community-owned forests) In 2004, several provinces in south China began to reform forest ownership policies, and now it has now been extended to large parts of this country in The local farmers benefit much from this change, and the average annual cash income for each farmer increased by 13%, or just over 10 dollars.
31 Ecotourism Ecotourism occurred in nature reserve in China in the 1980s, but breakout in the 1990s, and it exists in more than 65% of the nature reserves in China, including 77% of the national nature reserves. Ecotourism has been the most important resources for some nature reserve funding, occupied more than 50% of the whole funding.
