It is 1425 meters long and it`s construction costs were 9.9 billion yen. It was finished and opened for traffic in Nishi Hennazaki Cape On the Northwest edge of Miyako Island. A beautiful scenic place with facing Ikema Bridge and 3 windmills. Yukishio Saltworks Yukishio is certified as The salt which contains the most variety of minerals in the world on August 2000 by the Guinness World Records. On 2006, 2007 and 2008 won the golden prize in 3 years in row at the Monde Selection, which is said to be the Olympic of food production! Learn more the usage of Yukishio and find out the secrets of Yukishio born from the blue sea of Miyako Island. Miyakojima Marine Park Going down almost 100 stairs of the tunnel-shaped Underwater Observation Facility, you can see many colourful tropical fish down there. Each of you can be lightly dressed, and feel free to come here to enjoy the completely natural sea world. (This attraction is not recommended for passengers with limited mobility or in wheelchair. SVHRR02WM Southern Miyakojima Island Tour with meal Semi-Submersible Vessel Sea-Sky Hakuai Kurima Bridge & Ryugujo Observatory The 1,690-meter Kurima Bridge, completed in 1995 for connecting Miyako and Kurima Islands. It is the longest farm road bridge in Japan. You could find a colourful sea view Seen from the bridge, the colors of the sea change kaleidoscopically depending on the angle of light, beautiful beyond words. Maehama Beach When you see the white sand and the length of Maehama beach, which is well contrasted by the emerald-green ocean, you feel as if you are truly in paradise. Semi-Submersible Vessel Sea-Sky Hakuai Sea-Sky Hakuai is a semi-submersible vessel in which passengers can observe the depths of the ocean near the south part of Miyakojima. Ueno German Culture Village (Outside visit) The Ueno German Culture Village found its origin in the Meiji Era ( ), when a shipwreck occurred on the Miyako coastline. Locals rescued the German crew, and a theme replica was built to commemorate this event. 2 SVHRR03WM Eastern Miyakojima Island (Shigira Lift) Tour with meal Shigira Lift Ocean Sky Ingya Marine Garden Beach one of a popular beach in Miyako and it is suited for diving beginner. Higashi Henna Cape It is designated as a National Historic, Scenic and Natural Monument, and the great panoramic view from the lighthouse. This is not only one of the most scenic places in Okinawa but is also among the 100 most beautiful areas in Japan. The 2km long cape is surrounded by deep blue ocean water and Easter lilies bloom beautifully in the early spring. You can view the East China sea to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. Shigira Lift Ocean Sky (include one way cable car ride) Full length 283 meters long cable car was just opened in April You could enjoy the beautiful blue sea and colourful landscape surrounded by beautiful nature without unobstructed from the air. (This attraction is not recommended for passengers with limited mobility or in wheelchair. Passengers can enjoy and take photos at nearby area.) ** For Shigira Lift Ocean Sky, children must accompany with adult. Participants of this tour will then change to visit Ueno German Culture Village (outside visit). This theme park inter-mixes German culture with the beauty of Miyako Island to create an Okinawan German fairy tale. SVHRR04WM Irabu Island Tour with meal Tooriike Pond Irabu Bridge & Makiyama Observatory The Miyako-Irabu bridge took about nine years to complete. The main bridge span is 3,540 meters and cost $38 billion to build for connecting five islands. It is a longest toll-free bridge in the country. Makiyama Observatory is a highest observatory in the island which can see Kurima and Ikema Island. Tooriike Pond A mysterious, naturally-formed pond created by the erosion of limestone by rain. Flower Kingdom was opened in 2011, where it has arches with foliage plants and flowers, and ponds made of Ryukyu Limestone. There is also a small garden in multi-purpose square and you can have a great time, surrounded by the tropical flowers such as hibiscus and bougainvillea. Miyakojima City Hands-on Artcrafts Village it was opened in the Botanical Garden for the purposed to become familiar with Miyako s old traditions through learning Cogon grass folk crafts, Indigo dyeing, Miyako-Ori weaving, shell crafts, shisa and Local cuisine cooking. All people of every generation can easily enjoy each of the activities at reasonable prices (at your own expense). Painagama Beach Walk to the one of beautiful beaches in Miyakojima where you can take beautiful photo of Miyakojima.
