Da Nang Museum - It was built at a location within the precinct of the national historical relic of Dien Hai Citadel. Da Nang Museum covers a three-storey display area of 3,000 m2. It introduces more than 2,500 valuable documents, photographs and exhibits about the history and culture of Da Nang and its surrounding areas. They include more than 1,900 originals which have been collected since Liberation Day in Pedal cab ride Take a city tour on the pedal cab around Da Nang City and you may snap at the Catholic Church. Hue Imperial Citadel King Khai Dinh Mausoleum - also called Ung Tomb, is the mausoleum of Khai Dinh King who is known as the 12th King of the Nguyen dynasty. It is situated on a mountainside Chau Nhu, outside Hue Citadel, has an area smaller than the other famous royal tombs in Hue but considered by many to be the most beautiful and elaborate. Thien Mu Pagoda Built on a hill overlooking the Perfume River, 4km southwest of the Citadel, Thien Mu pagoda is an icon of Vietnam and as potent a symbol of Hue as the Citadel. It was originally founded in 1601 by Nguyen Hoang, governor of Thuan Hoa province. The 21m-high octagonal tower, Thap Phuoc Duyen, was constructed under the reign of Emperor Thieu Tri in Hue Imperial Citadel which was begun in 1804 by Emperor Gia Long (the first Nguyen emperor) on a site chosen by geomancers. The Royal Citadel sustained heavy damage during the war and many of its majestic buildings were destroyed, however, since being recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, considerable restoration has been carried out to recover its overall magnificence; it is a fascinating place to explore.
