Many overseas Vietnamese will come back to their motherland and arrival terminals at main airports will be extremely busy from Jan Feb. Markets, shops, museums and many local restaurants are closed during Tet leading to some changes in our programs. Tet festivities last for around 4 days and are considered as National Holiday. We do not recommend traveling during this period. 09 April, 30 April, 1 May, 2 September are National Holidays in Vietnam, some venues may be closed.

2 TUESDAY DAY 01 HANOI ARRIVAL Meet on arrival at Hanoi/Noi Bai International airport by TBA; our guide will pick up at airport and then transfer to hotel for check in. Check in time: Free time at leisure Dinner on own account Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi WEDNESDAY DAY 02 HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR [B/L/D] Morning: visit Hochiminh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Fine Art Museum and Historical Museum Lunch at local restaurant. Panoramic cycle tour in the afternoon followed by a visit of Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Drop by Thang Long theatre to enjoy famous Water Puppet Show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artists-men and women-stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk, laugh and even dance on water surface. 3 THURSDAY DAY 03 HANOI - HALONG [B/L/D] Drive to visit Temple of Literature and then proceed to Halong for 1 day/1 night cruise In Halong board the junk (Traditional Boat), check-in registration (Check-in time between and 13.00). Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Dragon descending to the sea as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Seafood lunch on board A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay will take you to visit some of the islands and caves. Opportunity to swim at Titov beach Enjoy dinner and overnight on board. (Times of activities may vary slightly. Itinerary and Program subject to change when necessary) FRIDAY DAY 04 HALONG HANOI DANANG HOI AN [B/L/-] Breakfast on board and continue to cruise the bay. Disembark and have lunch on the way Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Halong Bay after check-out from the boat. There is neither time nor an adequate restaurant facility on the way to Hanoi Airport. Please note that there will no other meals be served until dinner at hotel in Hoi An in the late evening. Drive back to Hanoi and transfer to airport for flight to Danang Arrive in Danang; meet our guide and transfer to Hoi An for overnight.

4 Accommodation at hotel in Hoi An SATURDAY DAY 05 HOI AN [B/L/-] Discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Its sizeable community of foreign merchants resulted in a unique architectural style with Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese influences. Visit the Phuc Kien hall, Japanese covered bridge, Tan Ky old house and a silk workshop. Lunch at hotel Afternoon: Time at leisure - Accommodation at hotel in Hoi An SUNDAY DAY 06 HOI AN - DANANG - HUE [B/L/-] Drive to Danang: Visit carving village at Marble Mountain; Cham Museum Lunch at local restaurant Proceed to Hue via Hai Van pass: Visit Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market Accommodation at hotel in Hue

5 MONDAY DAY 07 HUE HO CHI MINH (Saigon) [B/L/-] Boat trip on Perfume River; visit Thien Mu pagoda then Tu Duc Tomb. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to visit Khai Dinh Tomb and the incense making village Transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon); Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon); meet our guide and then transfer to hotel for check in Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon); TUESDAY DAY 08 HO CHI MINH CU CHI TUNNEL HO CHI MINH [B/L/-] Morning: Drive to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing complex of the underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon); Lunch at local restaurant Afternoon: Visit War Remnants Museum, former Presidential Palace and quick photo stops at Notre Dame Church, and Central Post Office Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon); WEDNESDAY DAY 09 HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE [B/-/-]
