2 ITINERARY IN DETAILS Day 01: Hanoi Arrival (-/-/D) Early-morning arrival in Hanoi. You are greeted at the airport and transferred to the hotel. You have some time to relax and adjust yourself to the pace of this exciting city. Later on in the morning, we take you to see the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, The Presidential Palace and Uncle Ho's house on stilts. The complex also contains the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the founding of the city in the 11th century. The pagoda, supported by a single stone pillar, is said to resemble a lotus blossom. In the afternoon take a fascinating cyclo ride to explore the bustling Old Quarter and the 36 Guild streets. In the evening you go to see Hanoi s world-famous Water Puppet show. Enjoy welcome dinner at local restaurant Overnight in Hanoi. Day 02: Hanoi Golf at King s Island Golf Resort (B/-/D) After breakfast, transfer by air conditioned vehicle to the Kings Island Golf Course. Situated in Ha Noi capital, Viet Nam, Kings Island Golf is an international standard golf club located just 36 km west of Hanoi in a convenient road. The club is located in the Kings Valley on 350 hectares along the shores of Dong Mo Lake. Access to the course is by boat. Kings Island will have two 18 hole courses. The Lakeside Course opened in When the Mountain view Course opened in October 2004, Kings Island is the first 36 hole facility in northern Viet Nam, including an air-conditioned clubhouse & restaurant, driving range, pro-shop, putting greens & sand bunker. Future developments include a new clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, sauna, guest villas, and boat dock. Drive back to Hanoi. Afternoon is free at leisure. Optional: we totally relax and unwind in a peaceful atmosphere at well-known Zen Spa interwove traditional Vietnamese culture with the present SPA concept. Enjoy a unique Zen herbal therapy, a traditional Vietnamese healing drawing on local plants and herbs. 3 Day 03: Hanoi Halong Bay cruise aboard The Au Co Cruise (B/L/D) We have breakfast at our hotel in Hanoi before heading out to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On our way there, we visit a typical Northern Vietnamese village where the younger and older generations still live together in traditional houses. In Ha Long we board one of our luxury The Au Co Cruises for an overnight boat cruise amongst the more than 3000 limestone islands and rocks rising majestically out of the turquoize bay. We pass grand rock formations and quaint fishing towns, and sample a delicious buffet made up of freshly caught fish and seafood while teh boat cruises towards Gia Luan, Cat Ba Island. Excursions in Cat Ba Island, visiting National Park, Chinese Hospital Cave and the French Cannon Hills. Back to the boat. Cruise towards Lom Bo Islet for overnight anchorage. There s opportunity to swim and kayak and enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. Dinner on board. Overnight on The Au Co Cruise near Lom Bo area Day 04: Lan Ha Bay Bai Tu Long Bay cruise aboard The Au Co Cruise (B/L/D) Tai Chi lesson on board and breakfast in the restaurant. Cruise toward Lan Ha Bay. Excursions & Biking around the National Park in Viet Hai Village. Return to the boat and cruise to Ba Trai Dao Beach where there s time for some swimming and kayaking. Lunch on board. The boat cruises toward Bai Tu Long passing Cua Van Fishing Village. Visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village by rowing boat then swim, kayak and snorkel at nearby beach if time permits. Depart to Ho Dong Tien. Cooking demonstration and sunset cocktails on board. BBQ dinner on board. Overnight on The Au Co Cruise near Ho Dong Tien area Day 05: Halong Bay Golf at Song Gia Golf Club Hanoi departure (B/-/-) Tai Chi lesson on board & cruising whilst breakfast is served. Afterwards, visit the Sung Sot Grotto before returning to the boat for brunch and check-out. Disembarkation. We arrive back at Ha Long harbour around noon where our transfer to Hanoi awaits. We stop at Song Gia Golf Club on the way back to Hanoi for a round of golf. Located in the clean and gifted natural environment where Song Gia and Song Mok meet together, Song Gia Resort and Country club is a fantastic golf course providing the best services and high class facilities matching any standards. Afterwards, transfer directly to the Noi Bai airport in Ha Noi to take the evening return flight. Depending on the exact flight schedule there is time along the way for a stop-over and a relaxing massage.
