9 A-002 World Cultural Heritage(UNESCO) UNESCO Heritage sites in bold UNESCO World Heritage refers to both cultural and natural heritage sites registered on the World Heritage List. Under the Convention, the World Heritage committee established a World Heritage List that includes cultural and natural heritage with outstanding value whose conservation is recognized to be in the interest of all humanity. Day 1 Arrival/Seoul Arrival in ICN Airport & transfer to hotel in Seoul. Day 2 Seoul Full day Seoul tour : Changdeok Palace & Secret Garden which is the ideal representation of Asian architecture. Jongmyo Royal Shrine is a Confucian shrine dedicated to the spirits of Joseon s kings and queens, Insadong Street, Namdaemun Market, its beautiful architecture and historical significance earned it a spot on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. 11 A-005 Art & History Day 1 Arrival / Seoul Arrival at Incheon Airport & transfer to hotel in Seoul. Day 2 Seoul Morning Tour covers Gyeongbok palace, National Folk Museum, National Museum of Korea, Blue House, Changdeokgung Palace. It is best known for its Secret Garden which is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritages site. Then Jogyesa Temple, one of the largest Buddhist temple within the city limits, famous for its lantern festival which holds every spring to commemorate Buddha s birthday. In the afternoon enjoy shopping at Insadong Antique Street and visit the major galleries of this area and Samcheongdong, end of the day with the visit of Bukchon Traditional Village. Bukchon Village & activities Bukchon Village is the most utterly picturesque neighborhood of Seoul. In the middle of two palaces Gyeongbok Palace to the west and Changdeok Palace to the east this village has the largest cluster of privately owned traditional Korean wooden homes or hanok in Seoul.
