Koajiro Forest The only forest in the Kanto region, Koajiro forest features a vast ecosystem from the headwaters to the sea. Many creatures, such as the Akate-gani (red-clawed crab) can be found in the promenade. The View of Mt. Fuji Mount Fuji can be seen over the Sagami gulf. If the weather permits, one can witness the beauty of Diamond Fuji - a rare view where the sunset aligns with the peak of Mt. Fuji. Traditional Culture Chakkirako Festival Chakkirako Festival prays for better catches of fish and harvest through dances. This historical and traditional event has been kept alive for more than 200 years. In September 2009, Chakkirako Festival was designated as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Dosun Festival Dosun Festival is a memorial festival of the Miura clan, who ruled over the peninsula in Kamakura and Muromachi period. Dosun Festival is also home to Kasagake, where a man shoots arrows on horseback. 8

In restaurants we provide various meals using the fresh fish from the sea near Miura and local seasonal vegetable.
