The majority of the countries main museum including the AF Museum, Caproni Museum and Volandia Museums are in the programme plus some lesser known ones. It is planned to have a day sightseeing in Rome, Milan and Venice with English speaking guides. Bring your partners, wives or girlfriends along for a great trip across Italy. There is an add on with a short trip onto Florence and Pisa to complete this great tour of Italy in one go, join Alan & Deryn, George and Barbara on this last few days touring.

2 The tour is prices on a half board (dinner bed and breakfast) arrangement Proposed Itinerary (April 2016) Thu 19 th Meet up with the group at Heathrow airport for your Alitalia flight to Rome Flt No. AZ Dep London Arr Rome After clearing customs transfer to our hotel for a four night stay Fri 20th/Sat 21st (See Note Below) A day spent sight seeing in the city. Alternative Today we shall visit the magnificent Air Force Museum at Villa de Valle (80+ aircraft) the museum is located on the banks of the Bracciano Lake and national park, time may be spend exploring this park during the afternoon if the storage area visit is not permitted (see below). On return to the hotel we shall have the Society AGM and dinner. Note: We have requested access to the restoration and stored area that is remote from the museum, if this is granted the sight seeing tour will be held on Saturday. Sun 22 nd This is a short day to visit two collections, we begin the day with a short visit to the Museo Storico della Motorizzazione Militare to see the 6 aircraft on display before continuing on our journey to the a visit to the Museo Storico Piana Deller Orme at Latina for the 5 aircraft on display. Mon 23 rd Leaving Rome behind we head for Rimini to visit the Parc Tematico Museo Dell Aviazone (30 aircraft). We hope to have a stop off at Lorento for the Museo Aeronautica Aeropark. (6 aircraft). We shall stay overnight in Rimini on the Italian Riviera. Tue 24 th Day tour to Venice staying overnight in Venice. Wed 25 th Heading for Verona and our overnight stay, we begin the day at the Museo Dellaria Dello Spazio at Castle San Pelagio. We have requested access to the 3 aircraft at the Museuo delle Forze Armate at Matecchio Maggiore. On completion we shall head for Trento for the Caprioni Museum (22 aircraft). We shall call in at the Museo Nicolis for its three aircraft as we pass through Verona.

3 Thu 26 th Lake Maggiore is the next stop off with our overnight stop at Arona. We shall visit the Agusta Museum (4 helicopters) and Volandia Parc and Museum (60 aircraft) both at Malpensa airport followed by the Museo Gottard Park (7 aircraft). Fri 27 th Departing for Milan we shall first visit the L Aeroplano (13 aircraft) at Arona before heading for the city where we plan to visit three museums. First will be the Communications Museum (3 aircraft), followed by the National technical Museum Leonardo da Vinci (18 aircraft) and the Museo de Novecento for a short stop to see the three aircraft here. We have requested access to the Cameri Museo Aeroportuale (16 aircraft) located on the Air Force Base. If permission is granted the days schedule will be revised. Sat 28 th Sight seeing day in the city of Milan Sun 29 th Return home after a great week touring Italy for those not extending onto Florence and Pisa Flt No. AZ Dep. All visits are subject to alteration or cancellation due to the unsettled worldwide situation. Military visits are subject to cancellation due to operational requirements. Any pleasure flights taken during the tour are deemed to be a contract between the owner/operator and the passenger(s). Museum visit entrance fees are not included in this tour. All group members must be in possession of insurance to cover them during the trip. Insurance is available through the Society.

5 PASSPORTS & VISAS: British Citizens require a Full British/EU Passport, which is valid for at least 6 months following the start of the tour. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no compulsory health requirements, however, we strongly recommend that you check with your local doctor or medical centre.
