2 Itinerary: Day 1 Touring coach to take the group today and remain with the group until they return to Lisbon on day 10. Tour along the coast out from Lisbon to Estoril and Cascais followed by a stop in Sintra to visit the Royal Palace. Then continue the drive up to. Dinner in the hotel Overnight in Day 2 Morning city tour with local guide and visit to the palace, a short cruise on the river and a port wine tasting session. to explore on their own Overnight in Day 3 Drive back south today with a stop in Aveiro, a small pretty town, but it is the decorated boats on the river that are the main attraction. Continue to, the old university town to meet the guide for the walking tour and visits to the university. Overnight in Day 4 This is a bit of a long day, if the group wishes to visit the shrine in Fatima it has been included and there's no extra charge for it. Overnight in. Day 5 Morning city tour with a local guide taking in the amazing Roman sights of the city. Afternoon drive to Overnight in Day 6 Morning city tour with a local guide and visits to the main sights of the Alcazar and the cathedral, Giralda and treasury. Evening Tapas bar dinner and flamenco show. Overnight in Day 7 Morning excursion to Jerez and visit a Sherry Bodega for tour and tasting. Overnight in Day 8 Drive back to Portugal and the Algarve today. Stop in Faro for a quick walk through the city on their own and also in the pretty small harbour at Portimao. Overnight in. Day 9 Local guide for the morning to give them some background to the area, visit the church of St Anthony to see the amazing interior and then to the fort of Henry the navigator. Overnight in Day 10 Today drive back to Lisbon with a few stops along the way: a visit to a cork oak plantation to see the trees and the process of harvesting the cork and its uses. A stop in Evora to see the remarkable Roman temple the final stop, just for fun at a vineyard in Setubal for a tour and tasting. Overnight in Lisbon Day 11 Local coach only transfer to Lisbon airport
