7 Traditional PERDÒN DI BARBANA The Perdòn de Barbana is the main religious tradition of Grado. It is celebrated on the morning of the first Sunday in July and consists of a votive procession during which the statue of the Madonna degli Angeli is transported with a suggestive boat procession from the Basilica of Sant'Eufemia to the island of Barbana, where an ancient Marian shrine is located., crossing the lagoon.
