Lignano Sabbiadoro The vibrant heart of all summer entertainment is Lignano's peninsula, 8 km of golden sandy beaches, covered by a luxurious pinewood, stretching out to the sea. Lignano is renowned for its golden and fine sands, the name says it all Sabbiaboro means golden sand. Lignano Pineta This green area is the tranquil and relaxing spot of the resort, harmoniously blended in the surrounding vegetation. Lignano Riviera The most recently developed area in which you can find Thermal baths, the harbour, a Zoological garden and a brand new 18 hole golf course. 4 HOW TO REACH LIGNANO By plane - Airports The nearest airports are: Venice - Marco Polo at about 100 Km from Lignano Trieste - Ronchi dei Legionari at about 60 Km. Treviso - San Giuseppe at about 110 Km. Trieste Airport, Ronchi dei Legionari Tel By train: the nearest station is Monfalcone, it is linked by a bus service (no. 10) every 20/25 minutes. From Monfalcone to Latisana on the line Trieste-Venezia. From Latisana to Lignano by bus. Treviso Airport, San Giuseppe Tel From Treviso airport drive the Motorway A27 Treviso-Venezia, then follow directions for Trieste on the Motorway A4, exit at Latisana toll-gate, then drive on direction Lignano. By car Motorways Motorways A4 and A23 are connected to the main European highways. Drive the Motorway A4 Venezia Trieste; Coming from Austria drive the Motorway A23 Tarvisio Udine then the A4. Suggested exit toll-gate: Latisana exit toll-gate: approx km 20 away from Lignano. Follow directions to Lignano on the S.S By train Train Stations You can reach by train the station in Latisana, which is only 20 km away from Lignano Sabbiadoro. From there frequent buses link the station with Lignano Sabbiadoro.

5 HOW TO REACH THE CAMP By car - Arriving from the Motorway A4 exit at Latisana toll-gate, then drive on direction Lignano; after 20 km after the sign Lignano Sabbiadoro, you find a large roundabout. Drive on towards the left on Viale Europa, leaving on your left hand side the Water park and Luna Park. Immediately after the gasoline pump turn to the right, direction Via Mezza Sacca. 6 THE CAMP The VILLAGGIO EFA-GE.TUR is located in an extensive pinewood park and has a wide stretching private beach. 7 TRANSFER On students request a pick-up service can be arranged, on Sundays, from the following airports: Venezia, Trieste, Treviso, and from the following rail stations: Latisana, Mestre. Linguaviva member of staff will be at the arrival area holding a Linguaviva Linguaviva-Lignano Lignano sign. He will welcome our young guests and help them in case of luggage loss. The transfer to Lignano by car or minibus will take approx. 1hr and 30 from Venice, Trieste or Mestre, 20 from Latisana train station, 2 hours from Treviso. For any last minute communication of flight change/delay, please contact: (+39) Even in case the arriving student does not meet the Linguaviva staff for unforeseen reason, he/she must call the above numbers. He/she must not leave the arrival area in any case. Drop-off transfers will be organized in time to reach the airports of Venice or Mestre railway station 4 hours before, the airport of Trieste 3 hours before, Treviso 5 hours before, Latisana railway station 1hr and 30 before the ticket departure time. Students leaving by train will be escorted to the railway station and guarded until the train leaves, when our responsibility will end. Students leaving by air will be assisted by our representative for the check-in operations. Responsibility will end when students pass customs and enter the boarding area; for students requiring the special procedure (see below), responsibility will end when the minor is entrusted to the hostess/ travelling staff. IMPORTANT NOTES CONCERNING UNACCOMPANIED MINORS PROCEDURE Children under 14 years of age must travel according to the procedure of accompanying minors foreseen by some air companies; we are not responsible for delays or travel loss due to lack of this authorization; all extra expenses will be charged to the family. All exact details about arrival/departure schedule must be sent in writing by fax or e at least 15 days before arrival. If a student travels as an unaccompanied minor, parents will be required by the e air company to inform the name and the ID number of the person in charge of welcoming the minor at the arrival airport. Parents must communicate 2 weeks before departure the name of the person in charge of welcoming the minor at the arrival airport when flying back home. It is very important that parents book the escorting service immediately also for departure from Italy in order to find all documents ready at the airport. Please consider that air companies may have different regulations.
