It is worldwide known as Santa s Country, the magical place where, together with the elves, Santa is preparing the gifts for Christmas Eve. The children can write to Santa all over the year, and all their messages are arriving to Santa trough Korvatunturi Postal Office. Levi the official Santa s ski resort, at Polar Circle, has the largest ski slopes in Finland, hosting annually all the events of World Ski Championship Offering a complete range of winter activities, 15 floodlit ski slopes and a city center full of bars and restaurants, sky training centers and shops, Levi is an idyllic place for spending winter vacation. 2 1/ BUCHAREST- ROVANIEMI - LEVI On you will meet the group attendant, at Henri Coanda (Otopeni) airport and the group will take the flight to Lapland. There the group will be met by local representative and will be transferred to Levi (approx. 30 minutes). On arrival, you will receive thermo insulated clothes, suitable for this destination: overall, boots and gloves. After check-in formalities, you will be invited to dine in hotel lobby. Included meals: Dinner 2/ LEVI Breakfast. You can spend this day skiing, doing individual activities or participating at the optional excursions. Included meals: Breakfast 3/ LEVI- SPECIAL CHRISTMAS EVE DINER WITH SANTA CLAUS Breakfast. Today you will go on a two hours trip to meet Santa and his wife at the woods house. The bus will take you to the edge of the forest, from where you will walk around 50m up to Santa s house. There he will be waiting with his wife and the elves to tell you the story of his life, then Santa Claus will show everyone how to decorate the Christmas tree. Mrs. Claus will teach the kids to prepare sweet houses made of gingerbread and then they will sing and dance together. Afternoon will be free for skiing, individual activities or optional excursions. In the evening, you will be invited to Christmas Eve Gala Dinner where Santa will listen all the wishes and will give the Christmas gifts to the children. The village and Santa s office are located at Polar Circle. Santa is always in the office and he is waiting for you. In the village, you can visit the postal office where you can order an original Santa s letter. Choose your preferred letter and put it in the red mailbox. The beloved ones will receive the letter at home, with Santa s stamp. Here you can tell to Santa all your secrets and wishes and he will give you an autograph as souvenir. In central square of Santa s Park you will have the occasion to meet magical characters that will lead you in a fairytale world. You can buy the most beautiful gifts from Surprise Factory of Rudolf reindeer. The commercial areas of the village are full of specific Finnish souvenirs (Christmas decorations, toys and other handcrafted products, clothes and shoes). One of the main attractions of this park is the train ride to the elves toys factory. Here you will find out how the toys are made for the next year. The newest attraction of the park is The Ice Gallery, with

3 magnificent sculptures that will tell to visitors about Lapland s people traditions and myths, animals and so on. During the trip will be a lunch break. Reindeer breeding is an important way of living in Lapland. Reindeers are semi-wild animals, they are living freely in the forest and they are brought together only twice a year, for these famous reindeer safaris. At the farm, the owner has a group of carefully selected reindeers, trained for pulling the sleight and for reindeer racing. Reindeer s caretakers will explain how to drive a reindeer sleight.
