2 Experiences you'll have Snowmobile tour in Karelia In three days you will travel 370 km on snowmobiles from Lake Onega to Lake Ladoga. The route will pass through snowy forest trails, frozen ponds and dunes. On your way you will make several stops in cozy old Karelian villages. One of them is Kinerma a 440-yearsold settlement. Here, you will have a walk along quiet streets, visit church and taste local food. Also, you will visit a zoo complex, where bears, elks, raccoons, wolves and other animals of the region, live in natural conditions. This program is a good variant for a weekend journey. Both beginners and experienced riders will enjoy beautiful winter trails through varying landscapes. This is the most popular snowmobile tour in our collection. Note: a return ticket must be taken from the station Lodeynoye Pole. The itinerary of the trip can be vice versa: Lodeynoe Pole Petrozavodsk. Please, get the details while booking the tour. We are ready to assist with the purchase of tickets. If necessary, leave a comment in the order. Day 1 You should arrive in Petrozavodsk in the morning. If you come with a train, you will be met on the train station. After that, you will have breakfast in a hotel in the city. Then, you will be transferred to a guesthouse in Chalna village (20 km). Here, you will try on your equipment and have a safety-briefing. If you are a beginner, you can also learn some snowmobile moves. You will have a trip to Lake Syamozero with snowmobiles (100 km). The route will pass through snowy forest trails, frozen ponds and dunes. On the way you will have a stop in a zoo complex. Bears, elks, raccoons, lynxes, wolves and other animals of Karelian forests live here in natural conditions. You can choose a dog sledding tour instead of visiting the zoo complex (extra charge). Please read the details in 'What is included in the dog sledding tour' section. In the evening you will come to the touristic base 'Alekka'. Here, you will accommodate yourself in the rooms, have dinner and relax in a steam house. Day 2 After breakfast, you will check-out from the touristic base. Your itinerary today will include several frozen lakes and old villages. The final stop will be in Kohtuselga village (140 km). For lunch, you will stop in the ancient village of Kinerma (16 th century), famous for its northern wooden architecture. There, you will taste local specialties in the old museum house, with traditional pies and tea.

3 The day will finish with arriving to 'Kohtuselga' touristic base. Here, you will accommodate in the rooms, will have dinner and enjoy Russian-style banya. Day 3 After breakfast, you will leave for a round trip towards Ladoga Lake. It is a lake of tectonic and glacial origin, the second biggest lake in Russia after Baikal. On the banks of Ladoga Lake there are many sandy dunes, covered in snow, perfect for free driving. In the evening you will reach 'Villa Vitele' hotel. Here, you will take shower and will have dinner. After that, you will be brought to 'Lodeynoe pole' train station, where the travel will finish. The first night you will stay in touristic base 'Alekka', located on the shores of Syamozero. You will accommodate in double rooms with furniture made from solid pine. Each room has a TV, bedside tables, chairs, a wardrobe, a coffee table and a bathroom. At the base there are two areas for outdoor recreation and Russian sauna with access to the lake. The second night you will spend in touristic base 'Kohtuselga'. It is located on the shore of Tulmozero. You will live in double rooms of a wooden cottage. Sauna and shower are located in the yard. There is a common WC in the house. On the first day you will have a stop in guesthouse 'Aviator'. Here, you will try on your equipment, have a safety-briefing and prepare for the itinerary. The guesthouse is located 20 kilometers away from Petrozavodsk. On the third day, before departure home, you will have rest in a hotel 'Villa Vitele'. It is located in Ust-Vidlitsa village. You will learn rules of moving in column and signals that are shown by instructors when obstacles appear. It is comfortable to drive a snowmobile alone. In case you have limited budget, or your partner is not sure about driving alone, it is possible to accommodate on a snowmobile together. What kind of meals will be provided during the journey During the trip you will have three meals per day. Breakfasts and dinners will be served in guesthouses. It will be tasty home-made food.
