Tornio Hotel Day 5 Tornio Kemi (Christmas Day) - Snowmobile Safari & Ice-fishing (Approx. 28km Day) Enjoy Christmas morning with breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Kemi. The morning adventure is a snowmobile safari with ice fishing. A safari guide will give a briefing and driving instructions. There will be two persons per snowmobile and stops will be made during the tour to switch drivers. Drive on the frozen river and the guide will choose a nice spot to stop for fishing. After drilling a hole in the ice, try the ice fishing! Patience is the key of success. Enjoy hot drinks and biscuits to keep warm. Tornio Hotel Day 6 Tornio - Husky Sleigh Ride (Approx. 28km Day) After breakfast a new adventure awaits you today with huskies and reindeer. Arrive at the husky farm where the breeders will reveal the life of huskies, the breeding, feeding and training of the dogs while you will enjoy a hot drink. Also enjoy a 2km sleigh ride pulled by a husky team. Their eagerness to run through the silent forest makes this adventure magic. Continue to the nearby Reindeer farm to learn more about the life of reindeer and their herders. Drive back to your Hotel and enjoy a nice dinner. 3 THE ITINERARY Today s excursion is to the northernmost zoo in the world - Ranua Wildlife Park. Here you will have the possibility to see the Arctic animals in an as authentic environment as possible for the animals. There are around 50 different species in the park. During your walk in the park, you might see polar bears, lynxes, moose etc. Upon the return to Rovaniemi say goodbye and board the overnight train back to Helsinki, with dinner onboard the train.
