12 Explanation: We ENJOY Listening Events, but their al value is to encourage us to impve our knowledge of our hobby, our listening techniques, our ceivers and aeria, etc. Many of our CLEs -use the sa narw range of fquencies after a year or so. This can pvi each of us with an excellent way of asuring our personal pgss by comparing our sults THEN with our corsponding sults NOW. The lower table shows statistics for listeners who took part in both the events. The bottom lines compa the general conditions found during the two events. Each listener's own sults ao pend, of course, on many other things, such as changes in ceivers or aeria, ti available for listening, use of cording equipnt and maybe a move of QTH, as well as pgss ma thugh listening practice. Comparing the sults between individual listeners is not very aningful - we each have so many unavoidable things that affect our ability to hear NDBs; whe we and they happen to be, whether we a in a city or in wi open spaces or by the sea, our spending limit, how long we a able to vote to listening, etc. CLE186e5.x 1 Oct. 2014
