3 Riječ Dekana Poštovane kolegice i kolege, dobro došli na stručni studij Politehnike Pula, Visoke tehničko poslovne škole s p. j. Naš studij Politehnike ove godine bilježi svoju četrnaestu godišnjicu rada. Da smo uspješna škola najbolje dokazuje činjenica da naši studenti nakon završetka studija relativno brzo nalaze svoje zaposlenje, kako u velikim poslovnim sustavima, te u malom i srednjem poduzetništvu. Zašto je razlog tome? Već iz naziva škole nazire se ono što je čini specifičnom u Istri i u Hrvatskoj, a to je polý i tekhnikós što znači «više različitih vještina». Ovakva kombinacija znanja iz područja tehnike, informatike, ekonomije i menadžmenta, čine, kako pokazuju iskustva i drugih studija politehnike u svijetu «dobitnu kombinaciju» za obrazovanje leadera vođe kreativnog tima, koji će moći brzo i vješto odgovoriti na sve izazove nove, globalizirane ekonomije. Vjerovati u sebe, u svoje sposobnosti i svoje mogućnosti tajna je uspjeha u društvu znanja u kojem se danas nalazimo. Stoga je naš najveći izazov voditi Vas na putu utiranja vlastitog profesionalnog i osobnog razvoja kojim ćete kročiti kroz život. Vršitelj dužnosti dekana mr.sc. Davor Mišković Word of welcome from the Dean Dear Colleagues, welcome to the professional study of Polytechnic Pula, college of applied sciences. This year, our college recorded its fourteenth anniversary. If we had a successful school is best shown by the fact that our students upon graduation rapidly find their employment, both in large business corporation, as well as in small and medium enterprises. Why is this so? Because the very thing that makes the school so specific in Istria and Croatia can already be seen from its title. And that is polý and tekhnikós, what means "several different skills" This combination of technical knowledge, computer science, economics and management, make - as the experiences of other studies and polytechnics in the world - "winning combination" of education leaders - leaders of the creative team, who will be able to quickly and skillfully respond to the challenges of the new, globalized economy. Believe in yourself, in your abilities and your options is the secret to success in a knowledge society where we are today. 4 Politehnika Pula Visoka tehničko-poslovna škola s p.j. Vizija Politehnike Pula jest obrazovati i osposobiti mlade ljude koji će biti u stanju objediniti polivalentna znanja i time odgovoriti na uvjete i potrebe suvremenog poslovanja koje donosi budućnost, praćenjem trendova europskih visokih učilišta. Misija je Politehnike Pula promicanje ideja i znanja za stvaranje polivalentnih stručnjaka potrebnih gospodarstvu te promicanje kreativnosti i održavanje stvaralačke atmosfere s ciljem dostizanja ljudskom (civilizacijskom) razvoju primjerene kulture rada i kulture življenja. Politehnika Pula studentima pruža suvremeno kvalitetno obrazovanje koje im omogućuje da postanu kreatori modernog poslovanja u svojim ili nekim drugim tvrtkama, ostalim gospodarskim subjektima te u javnom sektoru. Polytechnic Pula College of applied science Vision of Polytechnic Pula is to educate and train young people who will be able to consolidate a multi-purpose knowledge and thus respond to the requirements and needs of the modern business of the future, following the trends of European Higher Education Institutions. Mission Polytechnic Pula is to promote ideas and knowledge to create the necessary economic polyvalent professionals, and promote creativity and maintain the creative atmosphere with the aim of achieving human (civilization) developing appropriate work culture and lifestyle. Polytechnic Pula provide modern quality education to students, who will become the creators of modern businesses in their own, or other companies, other business entities, as well as in the public sector. 4

5 Preddiplomski stručni studij Završetkom prediplomskog stučnog studija Politehnike stječe se Diploma stručni/a prvostupnik / prvostupnica (baccalaureus / baccalaurea) inženjer / inženjerka politehnike. Preddiplomski stručni studij sastoji se od sljedećih područja: tehnike, ekonomike, menadžmenta i informatike. Studij traje tri godine, 6 semestara nakon čega ostvarujete 180 ECTS bodova. Znanje koje primjenjujemo, odmah. Undergraduate program Name of the qualification and the title of the undergraduate program is Professional bachelor (baccalaureus) polytechnic engineer. Main field of the program is the area of technical sciences, the field of Second fundamental technical sciences, Polytechnic study program. The duration of the undergraduate study program is three year, 6 semester program, and 180 ECTS credits. The knowledge we apply, immediately. 5

6 Specijalistički diplomski stručni studij Završetkom specijalističkog stručnog studija Kreativni menadžment u procesima stječe se zvanje stručni specijalist/specijalistica upravljanja procesima. Specijalistički diplomski stručni studij sastoji se od sljedećih područja: ekonomika, tehnika, organizacija, menadžment, poduzetništvo, financije i informatika. Studij traje 2 godine, 4 semestra nakon čega ostvarujete 120 ETCS bodova. Znanje koje primjenjujemo, odmah. Specialist graduate program Name of the qualification and the title of the specialist graduate program is Professional specialist in processes management. Main field of the program is the area of social sciences field, field of interdisciplinary social sciences, and study of polytechnics. The duration of the specialist graduate program is two years, four semesters, 120 ECTS credits. The knowledge we apply, immediately. 6

8 Hrvatska Na relativno malenom području susreću se razne kulture, mentaliteti i dijalekti, klime, životni stilovi, kuhinje, povijesno i kulturno naslijeđe, zbog čega je i dobila nazive poput "Mediteran kakav je nekad bio" ili "Zemlja tisuću otoka". Istra je prostrana zelena oaza sjevernog Jadrana i najveći hrvatski poluotok okružen kristalno čistim modro zelenim morem. Prepolovljena 45. paralelom, na pola puta između Ekvatora i Sjevernog pola, Istra ima idealan zemljopisni i klimatski položaj na sjevernoj Zemljinoj polutki. Smješten na krajnjem jugu poluotoka, obalno je sredozemno ljetovalište popularno zbog klime bogate suncem i djevičanskih plaža. Grad ima fascinantnu povijesnu jezgru čiji korijeni sežu do rimskih vremena, o čemu svjedoče ostaci rimskog foruma, Augustov hram i Arena - jedan od najbolje očuvanih amfiteatara na svijetu. Located to the very south of the Istrian Peninsula, is a Mediterranean coastal resort, popular for its sunny climate and pristine beaches. The town has a fascinating historical center, with roots dating back to Roman times as can be seen with the remains of the Roman Forum, the Temple of Augustus and the Roman Amphitheater one of the best preserved amphitheaters in the world available to view. 9

11 Administrativne formalnosti Putovnica Da bi studirali u Hrvatskoj, svi studenti koji nisu iz Europske Unije moraju imati važeću putovnicu. Za studente iz Europske Unije, dovoljno je imati važeću osobnu iskaznicu. Viza Studenti koji nisu iz Europske Unije moraju podnijeti zahtjev za studentsku više informacija, kontaktirajte hrvatsko veleposlanstvo u svojoj državi. vizu. Administrative formalities Passport In order to study in Croatia, all non-european students must have valid passport. For European students, a valid ID card is sufficient. Visa Non-EU students must apply for a Student Visa. Contact Croatian Embassy in your home country form more information. Residence Permit All the incoming students that will stay in Croatia for more than 3 months have the obligation to go to the Immigration Office of Pula within thirty days after arrival. Health insurance European students must provide a European Insurance Card. Non-EU students must provide a valid health insurance recognised in the EU area. 11
