If you rent a car in Switzerland, most probably the car will have that vignette already. You can double check. Therefore, basement parking is cheaper than on-street parking. In addition, basement parking is based on Autopay system, it allows more freedom. Just park and pay later. Therefore, if the car shall be parked for a period of unknown duration, then it s recommended to just use the basement parking (details as stated in the itinerary below). Some on-street parking only permits a maximum of 30 minutes. Chargeable parking Switzerland Chargeable parking is applicable on spaces with parking meters. In the white zone chargeable parking is limited parking in Pay and Display areas. Buy your ticket at a street machine, enter the car licence plate number and display it on the dashboard.

2 瑞 士有三种颜 色的停 车位, 分别是蓝 黄 白 *ask your friends to translate for u coz I am lazy* In short, it is about on-street parking. 蓝 色 : 经过观察, 大多数停在蓝 色线内的 车, 车前都放有 一张蓝 色的卡片, 上 面有标刻度的圆盘和指针 我们租来的 车上也有 一个, 但不明 白指针的意思 可以确认的是只要有这个蓝 色卡片, 车就能免费停在蓝 色 车位 黄 色 : 多是专 用 车位或私 人 车位, 所以不要在黄线内停 车 白 色 : 可以交费停 车, 但这 里里注意 : 有些标 示是残疾 车的 车位, 即使是空的也不能停 另外, 在 一些地 方 ( 比如 西庸城堡 ) 虽然 车位是 白 色划线, 但是也是 用上 面提到的蓝 色卡片的 瑞 simcard + data ORANGE 预付卡 (Orange Prepaid Card) 1. 需买 张预付卡, 费 CHF10;Sim card costs CHF10 2. 再向卡 充值, 如果只需上, 且是短期的, 最适合的是充值 CHF10, 每天扣 CHF1, 可以使 10 天, 上 不限流 量, 是 3G 信号 这样 共需要 CHF20 元, 可以使 10 天, 不限流量,3G 信号 Load credit into the simcard. If only data is needed (for a short period of duration), then the best is to load CHF10. They will deduct CHF1 everyday (So CHF10 is for 10 days). Unlimited data. None of this is bulky at all, it all packs easily. Running type shoes are good in late spring, summer, and early fall, but make sure you have an extra pair of wool socks to keep your feet dry. STAUBBACHFÄLLE (STAUBBACH FALLS) Magnificent waterfalls adorn the length of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the most famous being the 974-foot Staubbachfälle, which are illuminated at night and visible from town. These falls draw you like a magnet through the village of Lauterbrunnen itself, past a bevy of roadside cafés and the town center (marked by a church and the small Museum of the Lauterbrunnen Valley). Just opposite the falls is a centuries-old graveyard. TRÜMMELBACHFÄLLE (TRÜMMELBACH FALLS) About 3km after the town of Lauterbrunnen. A series of 10 glacier waterfalls hidden deep inside rock walls make up the spectacular Trümmelbachfälle, which you can access by a tunnel lift. Approach the departure point via a pretty, creekside walkway and brace yourself for some steep stair climbing.
