I bet lots of you went out to buy a fan, but nobody had any. Many shows this month. Choose to go to something different. We are looking forward to all of you coming to the picnic on August 20th. It will be too much fun! Your Pres Keith MEETINGS FOR AUGUST Steering Committee Meeting August 29th at 6:00 P.M. at the Viking Village Club meeting August 31 at the Stanwood Café at 6:00 P.M. PICNIC AT PROUTY S August 20, 2006, Keith and Wendy Prouty will be hosting the club s picnic again this year and will be providing the hamburger s hot dog s and buns. Below is an alphabetical list of what everyone should bring. If you last name ends with A-F Desserts, G-l Salads, M-R Side Dishes, S-V Sodas Water, W-Z Chips - Dips. We will meet at the Viking Village parking lot at 10:30 and leave at 11:00. MEETING JULY 27, 2006 MINUTES Keith called meeting to order. Auction helps pay for the postage on the newsletter. Great things to bid on. New guests were introduced. Minutes approved as written. Treasurer s report approved as read by Keith. Old Business: Parade questions, call John Mclean. New Business: Donna has new picture album, need pictures! Would like to make a scrapbook too. Car show in Rockport small turn out but nice. Picnic at Prouty s August 20th. Cruise report by Andy Clark Classic Outlaws in Lyman small show. His Place in Burlington nice show. Shipwreck Days, Anacortes, Howard and Geoff Davis received trophy s. Navy Exchange small but nice. Boomers club cruise 20 cars nice time was had by all. Future cruises vintiques cruise to Ellensburg (leave sultan?) on August 19th. Need ideas for future cruises, maybe picnic cruise? September Mystery Cruise. Nominations for Chairperson for the Car show will be next month. Charitable Funds Stanwood Senior Center put in a request, it was tabled for next month.
