1 MacPhail Suzuki Association Announces: Spring Bedding Plants and Perennials Fundraiser Key dates: Monday February 29, 2016 Materials available in your teacher s studio and on the MSA website, Friday April 1, :00 pm Order Forms Due (STUDENT SUMMARY SHEET AND PAYMENTS ONLY YOU KEEP THE DETAIL FOR DELIVERY) at the MacPhail Minneapolis Front Desk. Saturday, May 14, 2016, 8:30 10:00 THIS TIME MAY CHANGE IF OUR DELIVERY IS DELAYED, PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOR CONFIRMATION. Orders available for pick up at MacPhail Minneapolis, on the lawn near the 2 nd Street entrance. Participants are responsible for their own orders, if you are not available on the delivery date, please secure a responsible 3 rd party to be responsible for your order. The MacPhail Suzuki Association sponsors various fundraising opportunities for students who plan to participate in Suzuki Program tours. Our next MacPhail Suzuki tour is a trip to Italy in June, Funds raised by students will be applied directly to their personal trip account and will offset their tour expenses. Q&A Which students can participate? All MacPhail students are encouraged to participate in the fundraiser! It s not too early to start earning money for a trip fund, even for younger students. Tours are planned approximately every 3 years, so eventually every MacPhail student will be eligible to go on a trip. How will I know how much I have in my trip fund? Balances are available on request from the MSA treasurer. There will also be a published account credit amount for each fundraiser item offered so you can track your own balance if you wish. What if I decide not to go on the trip or if I leave the MacPhail program? You can either roll the balance forward to a future trip, designate another student to receive the benefit of your trip fund or donate the balance to the general of scholarship funds. If you leave the program and do not intend to return you will not have the option of a refund. What if have orders, but did not get them turned in on time? You will have to return the checks to your customers and will not be able to participate until the next fundraiser. Our deadline is based on the supplier deadline for our master order, once our order is in, it is difficult to alter it. Do I have to collect the money right away, or when the order is delivered? Checks must be made out to MSA and provided at the time you submit your order sheets. Do I have to pick up the plants for my customers? Students may either deliver the orders to their customers or they can coordinate delivery of their order from MacPhail on the delivery date. Do I have to help with the fundraiser? Students are not required to volunteer, however they are responsible for ensuring their order is picked up on the delivery date.
