DAY 02 LONDON TO BARCELONA Hotel: Hotel SERHS Rivoli Rambla // Arrive London (Gatwick Airport - South Terminal) at 6:20am. Transfer to your connecting flight on British Airways (BA 2706), departing Gatwick Airport at 3:35pm, and arriving Barcelona at 6:45pm. Clear with immigration and collect bags. 5 DAY 10 BARCELONA 2-NIGHT STAY OVER Hotel: Hotel SERHS Rivoli Rambla // Breakfast - Disembark ship at 9:30am; clear immigration and collect your bags. In the arrivals area at the Port, meet your coach and driver and travel to your hotel for a 2-night stay Hotel SERHS Rivoli Rambla DAY 11 BARCELONA CITY TOUR Meals: Breakfast Barcelona is one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities of Spain and this tour will show you all the?must sees? in the comfort of a private coach with a professional English speaking guide. Your guide will make your visit to Barcelona more meaningful and enjoyable. As well as seeing the major sites close up, you will delve into some of the areas of this?hidden city?, which tourists often miss. So, be sure to ask many questions! 9:00am your Barcelona Tours guide will meet at your hotel to begin your City Tour. You will be driven along Paseo de Garcia, the most elegant avenue in Barcelona, where you can admire the Casa Batllo and La Pedrera - two apartment buildings designed by Gaudi. You will travel down the famous avenue of Las Ramblas ending at the sea front. Drive pass Plaza de Catalunya and Via Laietana and then on to visit the Villa Olimpica (athletes? resident complex during the Olympics) and the Port Olympic (Olympic Harbour). From there you will go on to the identical Sagrada Familia Church, and then up to Montjuic Stadium, Palau Sant Jordi and Calatrava Tower. The tour finishes back at your hotel at around 1:00pm. The afternoon is at your leisure to relax, enjoy and or shop, and there are plenty of places to shop once you are prepared to walk around. DAY 12 BARCELONA LONDON (GATWICK) HOTEL Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott Gatwick Airport // Meals: Breakfast Early Breakfast - Check-out at 7:15am and settle any incidental cost you may have with the hotel. At 7:30am - your coach departs for the El Prat Airport in Barcelona. Here you will check in for your British Airways flight (BA 2707) which departs Barcelona at 10:40am, arriving London, Gatwick airport (South Terminal) at 11:55am. Clear immigration and customs. Board the coach for the short ride over to your hotel for an overnight stay at Courtyard by Marriott Gatwick Airport

10 THINGS TO KNOW Passport & Visa: Passport & Visa: Passports must not expire prior to April Barbadian/European passports holders do not require Visas for the Schengen States. Insurance: Travel Protection/Cancellation Insurance is strongly recommended and can be purchased through The Travel House. WEATHER: In Western Europe, September is still considered peak season, with tourists and residents enjoying the last outdoor festival and activities before fall rain and grey skies set in in earnest in October. While temperatures can reach up to the mid-70s or down into the low 50s, the 60s are the norm. Depending on the year, you might encounter a heatwave or a downpour, so it's best to check the weather regularly before any September trips to the region. Fall showers are common but generally come in periods of several days of greyness and rain, unlike the short, humidity-driven summer bursts. DRESS: Pack layers of clothing to remain comfortable in the day and warmer in the evening. A light, waterproof jacket comes in handy at night and during the rain. Wear comfortable walking shoes to avoid blisters when touring. Pack cotton clothing to stay cool during the day. Be advised that many churches in Mediterranean port cities require a modest dress code and forbid the showing of bare shoulders or knees. Bring a shawl or large scarf to cover appropriate body parts, if necessary. Casual clothing, such as shorts, slacks and t-shirts are appropriate day wear on the ship. FOREIGN CURRENCY: A few pound notes (and at least 4 x 1 coins for the baggage airport baggage trollies); Euros and your credit card are perfect forms of payment for this trip.
