2 DAY 1: DEPART (Friday) Fly overnight from Boston to Paris. DAY 2: PARIS (Saturday) Bienvenue à Paris! Upon arrival, your Forum Tour Manager will greet you at the airport and remain with you throughout your stay in France. Transfer by private motor coach to your hotel and drop off your bags. This afternoon, stroll down the most famous avenue of the capital: the Champs-Elysées. Climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe to admire the view. See the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Walk through the Trocadéro and view la Ville Lumière from the third floor of the Eiffel Tower. Have dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, board a glass-topped Bateau Mouche and enjoy a refreshing cruise on the River Seine. Night accommodation in Paris. DAY 3: PARIS (Sunday) This morning, explore the ancient burial grounds (Paris Catacombs) underneath Paris. You ll hear tales of the disturbing history of the Paris Catacombs as your guide for this haunting tour takes you on a journey through more than a kilometer of tunnels. At lunch time, visit a Boulangerie-Pâtisserie Gosselin to see how French baguettes and croissants are made (includes a tasting). Pick up one of their delicious sandwiches for lunch. Then, head to Île de la Cité. Visit the Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame, a magnificent religious edifice and one of the supreme masterpieces of French art. Climb the towers to get a close-up view of the gargoyles! Then, your Tour Manager will take you to the Latin Quarter. See the Sorbonne University, the Pantheon and the Luxembourg gardens. Tonight, head to the highest point in Paris, Montmartre (known locally as La Butte), and enjoy a dinner music show at La Bonne Franquette. Then, climb the steps to reach the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre s hilltop church and most famous landmark. Night accommodation at your hotel. DAY 4: PARIS - AIX EN PROVENCE (Monday) This morning, enter the Musée du Louvre. The Louvre in Paris is the world s best-known, biggest and busiest museum. Its famous collection of art and antiquities includes the Mona Lisa as well as 35,000 works of art on display in 300 rooms. After some free time for lunch, board the High-Speed TGV Train to Aix en Provence. Transfer to your hotel and drop off your bags.

3 Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in this charming city. Overnight in Aix-en-Provence. DAY 5: AIX - CASSIS - AIX (Tuesday) This morning, head to the Aix-en-Provence local market and enjoy all the colors and smells of Mediterranean food. Later, relax in your private motor coach and enjoy the beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea on your way to Cassis. Upon arrival in Cassis, hop on a boat ride to explore the spectacular Calanques, a geologic formation in the form of a deep valley. Have some free time for lunch. Return to Aix-en-Provence and go on a guided visit of this charming city. Learn about its rich history. Discover the Vieux Aix, its narrow streets and the one hundred fountains of the city. Have some free time to explore the city on your own. Have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Aix-en-Provence. DAY 6: AIX - GIRONA - BARCELONA (Wednesday) After breakfast at your hotel, board your private motor coach and drive to Barcelona. Make a stop in Girona for lunch and a short visit. This ancient walled city is located on a fortress-like hill, high above the River Onyar. Continue on to Barcelona in Spain. Upon arrival, meet your Spanish Forum Manager who will remain with your group until the end of your tour. Follow your guide on a guided walking tour of the Barrio Gotic, the medieval heart of Barcelona. Take a stroll along Las Ramblas, the primary downtown boulevard lined with shops and cafes. Have dinner at a local restaurant. Night accommodation in Barcelona. DAY 7: BARCELONA (Thursday) Today, you will spend your time immersed in Gaudi s heritage! Visit the architectural wonder of La Pedrera, designed by Antoni Gaudí (with audio guides). Next, participate in a thrilling learning experience at Gaudi Experiencia, an interactive museum equipped with state-of-the-art, 4D technology. Afterward, visit Parc Guell Gaudi s garden city a town unto itself with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Discover the park and enjoy a picnic lunch (not included). To finish your day of Gaudi s creations, meet your local guide and discover the astonishing La Sagrada Familia, designed by Gaudí and still under construction. Tonight enjoy the sounds and colors of Spain at a Flamenco Dinner Show. Night accommodation in Barcelona.

4 DAY 8: BARCELONA (Friday) This morning after breakfast, have some free time for shopping around Passeig de Gracia y Rambla de Catalunya. At lunch time, head to the city s main food market for a taste of local life: the glorious Mercat Sant Josep, known locally as the Boqueria. After a look around the market, test your culinary skills in a cooking workshop where you ll learn how to prepare some local specialties. Be careful of how you prepare your meal - this will be your lunch! In the afternoon, continue with a visit to Estadio del Camp Nou, home of the FC Barcelona soccer team! Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner see the colorful Magic Fountain Show: a spectacular display of color, light and water acrobatics (subject to availability). Night accommodation in Barcelona. DAY 9: DEPART (Saturday) Today, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
