Costa's onboard cashless system allows Guests to sign for drinks, shore excursions and other purchase onboard. These charges may be applied to the Guests' credit card. Guests who choose not to use a credit card for payment of onboard charges must provide a cash deposit within 48 hours of embarkation, to cover onboard expenses. This deposit must be a minimum of 150 Euros/150 USD per person, according to the onboard currency. If the onboard expenses exceed the amount deposited, a new cash deposit will be required. At the end of the cruise any remaining funds will be returned to the Guest in cash. For convenience, US Dollars may be converted at the Guest Relations Desk, a service fee may apply. Personal cannot be cashed onboard. Onboard Currency. Each cruise has a designated onboard currency of either U.S. Dollars or Euros, depending on the vessel's itinerary. The currency will generally be U.S. Dollars for cruises that begin and end in U.S. ports (most Caribbean cruises) and Euros for cruises that begin or end in European ports (such as Mediterranean and Transatlantic cruises). The currency for exotic itineraries, such as Asian cruises may be either U.S. Dollars or Euros. Guests are encouraged to contact Costa prior to sailing to confirm the currency for their

3 cruise. All onboard expenses and additional charges will be charged to the onboard account in the currency of the cruise. Children are Welcome Costa offers a comprehensive children's program through the European and Caribbean cruise seasons. The months of July and August are the most popular traveling times for families with children in Europe. Activities vary by ship and itinerary. Climate: Although temperatures may vary, the following are averages for various regions. Degrees are in Fahrenheit. Sweaters, lightweight jackets, raincoats and hats are also appropriate for Northern Europe. Tennis shoes or low- heeled walking shoes are recommended for exploring the ports of call. While most shore excursions do not have dress codes, some tours specifically prohibit shorts and sleeveless shirts and require ladies to wear knee- length skirts or slacks. Most every night is informal, Guests may dress comfortably in resort attire, jackets for men are not required. There are typically one or two formal nights depending on the length of the cruise where Guests may choose to dress formally: elegantly in a suit for men, cocktail dress for the ladies; or more casually in elegant resort wear. Special Diets: Costa will make every attempt to satisfy special dietary needs. Guests must notify their travel agent or Costa Cruises of any special dietary request at the time of booking. A form will be provided for Guests to complete and submit at a minimum of four (4) to six (6) weeks prior to sailing. Dining Schedules: Dining times will be confirmed for Guests who purchase a stateroom in a Premium category, when making their reservation. Guests who purchase the Classic cabin category will be provided their dining time once onboard. Guests must advise if they are traveling with friends not in their same cabin so they may be assigned together when possible. The dining times shown are general guidelines only. Times may vary by itinerary and vessel and may include open seating on certain days for breakfast and lunch. Most ships have

4 specialty dining restaurants available by reservation only for dinner, 7 nights a week. A nominal service charge for specialty dining may apply. Costa neocollection: neoclassica, neoriviera and neoromantica offer an innovative Dining Room Concept that offers a flexible dining experience just like a restaurant would and gives Guests the freedom to dine with whomever they wish, at their convenience between 18:30 p.m. and 22:30 p.m. in elegant, upscale venues. Reservations are not permitted in the restaurant. Seating is based on a first come, first serve basis. If the restaurant is full, Guests will be provided a pager and will be called when a table becomes available. Duty Free Purchases: The amount to be paid will be determined by a Customs Officer. U.S. residents are normally entitled to a duty- free exemption of $800 on those items accompanying them; non- residents are normally entitled to an exemption of $100. Both residents and non- residents will normally be required to pay a flat fee for duty on the first $1000 above their exemptions. Personal Food and Beverage Items Arriving at Embarkation: Company Health and Safety standards for Guests and Crew Members strictly prohibit Guests from bringing any kind of drink or food onboard in hand or cabin luggage. Personal care products, such as shampoo, suntan lotion, etc; baby care products; products certified by a doctor and liquid medicines are not subject to the rule. Any food or drink brought at embarkation will not be admitted onboard and kept at the pier; this will be returned when the ship returns to the embarkation port. Local regional products purchased (in keeping with customs laws) during excursions and port visits will be kept in custody by ship officers and upon arrival at the final port, will be released to the Guest at disembarkation.

5 Governmental Requirements: Please Note: The following information must be provided by the Guest. Guests must have in his or her own possession proper documentation required by the government of the port of embarkation and all ports of call. The Guest is advised to consult with his or her travel agent, the appropriate governmental agencies and embassies to determine the documentation that will be required. Costa assumes no responsibility for advising the Guest of immigration or any other governmental requirements. Costa may refuse to embark the Guest or may disembark the Guest in the event the Guest does not present the required documentation. Such denied boarding or disembarkation shall be without liability to Costa and no refund of the Cruise Fare or other paid services shall be due to the Guest in such circumstances. In general, travel documents include a valid passport with an expiration date that does not occur within six(6) months of the scheduled return date to the Guest's home country and when required by a host country valid Visas for the ports of call the Guest will be visiting with the ship. 6 Caribbean Cruises: The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) requires U.S. and Canadian travelers to present a passport or other document that denotes identity and citizenship when entering the U.S. The WHTI proposed rules require U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the Department of Homeland Security. Costa Cruise Lines requires the approved travel document to be valid until 14 days after the scheduled return date of travel. Children: Children 17 years of age and under must also present a valid passport, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the Department of Homeland Security. Please note: Guests without proper travel documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of cruise fare will be given to any Guest failing to bring the required documentation. Mediterranean and Northern Europe Cruises: United States and Canadian citizens must have valid passports and necessary Visas. The expiration date of the passport must not occur within 6 months of the scheduled return date of travel. Naturalized U.S. citizens are advised to carry their naturalization papers. Aliens who are residents of the U.S. must carry their Alien Registration Card and passport. All others must have valid passports and necessary Visas. Guests on itineraries visiting Russia and Ukraine, who wish to tour independently in these countries (not on a Costa organized shore excursion) will need to obtain a Visa from the respective embassy/consulate prior to travel. 7 Dubai and United Arab Emirates Cruises: United States citizens must have a passport that is valid six(6) months after the scheduled return date of travel. U.S. passport holders will be issued a Visa upon arrival free of charge. Canadian and Non- U.S. passport holders require a Visa or multiple Visas prior to traveling to Dubai and/or United Arab Emirates (UAE). Costa recommends Guests traveling on cruises that start and/or end in Dubai or UAE and hold a Canadian or Non U.S. passport, contact Gulf Ventures to the following contact information in order to obtain Visas prior to arrival in the UAE. Any fees associated to the purchase of the Visas are at the sole discretion of Gulf Ventures. Payment for Visas will be made directly with Gulf Ventures. Fees may range between $80 and $260 USD per person depending on the cruise itinerary. Additional fees may apply according to time of Visa request and form of payment. South American Cruises: Brazil United States and Canadian citizens must carry a valid passport and a Visa for cruises starting, ending, or arriving in Brazil as a port of call. Non- U.S./Canadian citizens must carry a valid passport and appropriate Visas. Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months after the scheduled return date of travel. Argentina For all sailings starting, ending or arriving in Argentina as a port of call, United States and Canadian passports are required to pay a reciprocity fee prior to sailing. Note for Sanya, China: Guests who participate in a Costa sponsored shore excursion will not require a separate Visa. If Guests whish to travel independently, a Visa will be required. Vietnam Cruises: United States and Canadian citizens must have a passport that is valid six(6) months after the scheduled return date of travel. A Vietnamese Visa is required for entry to Vietnam. As a courtesy to Guests, Visas are provided onboard for a minimal fee for those in transit or arriving in Vietnam as a port of call. Guests disembarking in Vietnam may also purchase a Visa for exit. Guests embarking in Vietnam must consult Visa services or the local consulate.

Are Inoculations Needed: Because requirements for inoculations often change, Guests must contact their local health service or personal physician for specific information. Internet Service: Guests can send and receive through their own service provider in the Internet Center for a nominal charge. WIFI is also available for Guests onboard who have their own device: laptop, phone, tablet etc. Credits or pay per use packages may be purchased directly from the onboard portal. The cost will be included in the onboard bill, payable at the end of the cruise. Laundry and Dry Cleaning: Complete valet services including laundry, pressing and dry cleaning can be arranged through the stateroom steward/stewardess and billed to the shipboard account. Medical Care:

10 A physician and nurse are available aboard the ship 24 hours a day while at sea, and during certain hours of the day while in port. If necessary, visits to staterooms may be arranged. Customary charges are in effect for medical care. Guests are encouraged to purchase Costa Carefree Travel Protection. Visit Before You Go Carefree Travel Protection Phoning Home: Ship- to- shore telephone service is available 24 hours a day from the stateroom while the ship is at sea or in port. Guests will find telephone and dialing instructions in their stateroom. If Guests need to be reached by people at home, friends and family may call or fax the ship directly; or they may make contact via through the Guests own internet service provider which may be accessed via the Internet Center. WiFi is also available for Guests with personal devices. Onboard Guests may make phone calls from the cabin via satellite connection, as well as send and receive faxes. The Information Desk can provide details. Information for telephone and fax communications by the ship's satellite number is shown. Alternatively from Italy, friends and family can call the Telecom number 170, giving the name of the ship, the passenger name and, if possible, the cabin number. In other countries the shore caller may contact the operator in that country for information. Note: In order to avoid wasting precious phone time to track down the Guest, callers are encouraged to send a fax before calling with the details of when the call can be expected. The service charge is an integral part of the cruise and therefore the amount cannot be altered. As a convenience, Costa will add a modest service charge per person, per day to the onboard account as a gratuity for cabin and dining services. Bartenders, servers, deck stewards and other staff may be tipped as service is received. A 15% gratuity is added to beverage purchases which are added to the onboard account. Cruises through November 2015 Caribbean cruises departing from the U.S. and Far East cruises: $11.50 per Guest 15 years of age and older per day for all cruise lengths. If preferred, Guests may also purchase shore excursions onboard at the Shore Excursion Desk. We suggest purchasing excursions as soon as possible, capacity is limited. Shore excursions are also subject to minimum participation levels and may be cancelled if these requirements are not met.
